In Ready Or Not, there are a lot of things you’ll need to know. It’s not just jumping around room to room shooting at anything that moves, that’ll get you killed. Especially if there are traps at the entrance of the room!

How To Disarm Traps | Best Method

To disarm a trap in Ready Or Not, you should first know where the traps are. Usually, they’re at doorways and are simple trip-wire traps.

You might think they’re easy to find but sometimes, they’re behind closed doorways.

This can be even worse in low-lighting conditions or when things get hectic like in a gunfight. So, make sure to be careful and follow these steps.

NOTE: It’s best to bring a flashlight or night vision goggles to see traps better.

Using The Mirrorgun & Finding Traps

We old people call this the Optiwand. Make sure to bring a Mirrorgun in your Loadout and use it when checking for traps.

When you have the tool in your hands, you can look at the bottom of a door to see the Mirrorgun icon. You can then hold the Left-Mouse Button to use it.

You’ll have a limited view of the other side. From there, look if there’s a tripwire trap behind the door, usually you can find a long line leading to them.

Disarming Traps

Once you know there’s a trap on the other side of the door, we’ll need to disarm it. Firstly, fight the urge to tell your friend there’s no trap and go right ahead.

Now, look at the door handle and press F to peek through the door. It’ll open the door slightly.

You’ll then want to look at the wire of the trap and then hold F to disarm it by using the wire cutters. Once it’s disarmed, you can then walk right through!
