RH2: Complete Beginner's Guide | Roblox

RH2 The Journey is a ROBLOX basketball game series that introduces many new features. This game is still under development and is yet to be considered a complete game. Team up with other players and show them who’s the best basketball player out there!

As a beginner, you may not know how to get started. In this guide, we’ll show you some of the basics to the game that can help you understand how it works. There are many features that will be released as the game develops so always stay updated.

Complete Beginner’s Guide

Before you get started, you will need to have BETA Access, which can be purchased for 200 Robux. If you’ve already played in Alpha, you do not need to buy this game pass. This pass will allow you to create a character so you can start playing.

When you first get in, you can customize your character in the menu. Then, you’ll get to choose your character’s position. This involves Power Forward, Center, Point Guard, Small Forward and Shooting Guard. Each of these characters have unique stats limit that lets you customize your character to fit their role.

For example, the Shooting Guard has his Mid Range Shot, Three Point Shot and Free Throw limit at up to 92-95. This allows the character to specialize in throwing and help your team win in games. Another example is the Point Guard, which specializes in the Playmaking trait, allowing your role to pass and ball handle effectively.

On the next page, you’ll get to distribute points into your character’s overall attributes. Depending on what class and role you play, you’ll want to have the right stats into Finishing, Shooting, Playmaking, Defending/Rebounding and Physicals.

As you distribute your points, you’ll unlock badges that increase your stats as well as your success chances of performing an action. There are many badges as well as builds for you to experiment with, so specialize in one trait you think is going to be beneficial.

After that, you can choose to equip the badges that you unlocked earlier from distributing your attributes points. These badges are in two types, Takeover and Team Boost. For example, if you invested lots of points into the shooting Trait, the badges you can take can be Spotlight. This will increase your Three Point Shooting significantly. Your team boost can also be Hivemind, which increases your team’s Acceleration and Pass Accuracy from the Playmaking Trait.

RH2 Takeover Boosts

After you created your character, you will be able to see your stats in the menu. You will only have 60 of your OVR Scores. To make them reach the limit, you can use your coins that the game gives you and spend all of them on maxing your stats.

RH2 Upgrades

Depending on your build, you’ll want to upgrade your most important stats. If you are a Shooter, max out your Three Point Shot. Speed and Stamina also play important roles if you decide to play as a Shooter. Stamina can also be really useful if you are a guard. Ball Handle is also an important stat for most of the classes.

RH2 Teammates

As you play, find someone who is a really good player and can support you throughout your journey. Since each player should only prioritize and specialize in one class, you can only perform certain tasks effectively.

This is when you want your second friend to invest in the stats or attributes that you are missing to help balance your team out. For example, if you are a shooter, you will need a friend that specializes in defense and playmaking to help you make those plays and win.

RH2 Gameplay

Lastly, practice plays an important role. Sometimes, it’s really necessary to pay attention to your moves as well as your opponents’ traits to counter them. As you play, you and your friend will learn together and will become one of the best players in the community!
