Robin Hood: Sherwood Builders is a brand new game wherein you have to play as the titular hero robbing from the rich and giving to the poor. Throughout the course of the game, there will be a wide range of puzzles for you to solve, and among them is the so-called “whistle puzzle”. Here is a quick guide on how you can solve these types of puzzles!
How to Solve Whistle Puzzle Guide
As you explore the world of Robin Hood: Sherwood Builders, you’ll eventually run into a puzzle that involves pressing the correct keys over a pit of spike traps.
For this one, you will have to memorize a series of musical notes that your character will whistle out whenever you activate the hint. Always activate the hint first and take careful note of the sequence.
Upon pressing E on the little hint board, your character will start whistling and various notes (indicated by single letters) will fly over your head. You must then play this exact same order on the piano-like keys on the table.
If you have a means to record your screen, you may do so. Otherwise, use an external note application or any other way to write down the letters in order. This will trivialize the puzzle completely.
The keys on the piano-like table device thing goes from “C-D-E-F-G” from left to right. I’m not a musician, so don’t ask me why the keys are like this rather than in alphabetical order starting from “A”.
The only thing you need to watch out for in this puzzle is that if you get any note wrong, spikes will come up after a few seconds. You can dodge away if you’re fast enough, though you will have to be fully aware that you made a mistake.
Once you have completed the puzzle, you will hear an audible cue signifying that you have successfully done it. Also, you should know that these puzzles can range from having just a handful of notes to having over ten, so always be ready to write down the solution.
And that is pretty much everything you need to know when it comes to solving these types of puzzles in the game. Don’t forget to check out our guide on how to solve the angel statue puzzles in Robin Hood: Sherwood Builders as well!
