In survival games, the player needs to learn where certain resources are. There are common resources like wood and stone that you can find anywhere in most games. Then, there are higher-tier resources that are a bit harder to find.
In Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders, you’ll learn as you play the game where to find all sorts of materials. Some of them are a bit harder to obtain due to their rarity and are often locked behind a location on the map.
In this guide, we’ll show you where to find the Gold Mine in the game so that you can start mining some gold. Now, let’s see where this area can be found!
Where Is Gold Mine Location?
When going through the massive Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders map, you might have noticed mines around the map. When you discover them and check the map, you can see them as pickaxe icons. And when you hover your mouse over them, it’ll tell you what kind of materials you can get there like Iron.

So naturally, there would be other mines that can give you other resources like gold. The easiest way to get to a gold mine is in the Roche Abbey part of the map. To get there, you’ll want to head south from Robin’s Village and go through Coinsbrough. Keep heading southeast till you get to Roche Abbey.
Directly south of the abbey is where you can find the single mine in the area. That mine will have gold that you can obtain! You’ll have to discover and clear the area first before you can start mining though!
That’s where you can find the Gold Mine in Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders. There are a lot more mines in the map that can give you gold but this one is the easiest to get to. If you need Gypsum, check out our guide on where to get Gypsum for more information!
