Let’s find those Pine trees, shall we?

Pine wood aplenty!

I have to admit: when it comes to survival or crafting games, no other game does it quite like Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders. While it hasn’t been too long since the game’s release, it’s been surprisingly easy for me to get immersed in the world. Maybe it’s because I’m such a big fan of good ol’ Robin of Loxley that I can’t help but love every second of it. I’d like to share some of my experience with you — namely, where to find Pine Wood location in the game.

Where To Find Pine Wood Location

One of the coolest things about this game is crafting Robin Hood’s iconic weapon and using it to hunt for food and battle against Sherwood’s oppressors. That said, the first thing you’ll need to do is find Pine Wood, so you can start crafting. Naturally, you’ll need to go look for Pine Trees that you can chop down.

Let’s get to chopping!

An Outlaw’s Best Friend

Fortunately, it’s extremely easy to get the location for easy access to Pine Wood. Namely, you’ll find them both in Sherwood Forest and in Barnsdale. It’s also easy to get the location of Pine Wood because you’ll have access to An Outlaw’s Best Friend (one of the first quests in the game).

I have the locations right here:

Pretty easy to find!

All you have to do is head on over to the location marked on the map and you’ll get to chop down as many trees as you like. That said, you’ll also want to keep an eye on your tool durability.

Fortunately, my Complete Skill Tree Guide & Overview can give you a rundown on the most important skills in the game. If you want my advice concerning which skills to go for, I recommend the Path of the Arrow, as it improves Robin’s skill with the bow.

One would think that Robin of Loxley is already incredible with the Bow, but you’ll still need to work on it. It might take a bit of doing, but you’ll easy get the hang of things, especially with the Slow Motion feature.

SIDE NOTE: You’ll also want to learn where to find and craft empty bottles in this game — trust me.

What exactly can I do with Pine Wood?

Without a doubt, Pine Wood is one of the most important materials in the game, as it allows you to start crafting Robin Hood’s iconic bow. If you need extra details, I have a guide here on crafting Bows & Arrows.

Some of the most important materials in the forest!

The reason why they made it so easy to access the Pine Wood — as it’s practically next to your village — is because you’ll need it not only for weapons, but also for building. It’s one of the foundations of building within the game, and you’ll need to learn the ins and outs if you’re going to tackle some of the game’s harder content!

Have any extra advice for me?

Yes, actually. Have a look at the skill tree and plan out how you want to play the game. If you’re interested in crafting over everything else, the skill tree allows you to focus on that. It can also improve your woodcutting skills, allowing you to cut down more trees without wearing down your axe’s durability too much.

Oh, you’ll most definitely get hungry, so it’s a good idea to learn how to find rat meat in this game. Very nutritious.

Naturally, you’ll also want to improve your skills with the bow, as it would be pretty strange for Robin of Loxley to not be incredibly skilled with this weapon. Of course, you can turn him into Ezio Auditore by focusing on assassination and the blade, but I prefer the ranged approach.

Oh also, while you’re here, make sure you learn where to find Limestone in the game, as you’ll need it when you start building your village!
