We’re a bit late to the party, but after getting through every content in this year’s Halloween Update for Roblox Arsenal, I’m here to share you everything there is for the update. There’s a lot of cool stuff added this year, like characters, weapons and of course, the Halloween event, which features a “Contract” mechanic. For more details, read further into the guide.
Complete Halloween Update Guide | 2023
So, let’s quickly run through the update details. First up, we’ve got six fantastic new characters which are:
- Sorcerer
- Vagrant
- Furry
- Goat
- Comedy
- Tragedy
Additionally, there are new melee weapons, three new unusual items, two new calling cards, three Hollow overlays for calling cards, five new weapon skins, a new map called Ridge Park, a revamped Gastly House, which is now a safe house, and a haunted map called Haunted Manor.
On top of that, we have four extra melee weapons and a ton of patch notes that may not be the most exciting, but they’re quite important.
Heading over to the Halloween shop on the right side of the screen, we also have a treasure hunt, which is pretty cool. While the top 1,500 spots may already be taken, you can still participate and earn some of that currency.
You’ll have to grind for the contracts to earn them. Just click “Buy” on them, complete the contract, and it refreshes every hour. You can also do the treasure hunt for 1,200 Molars, which is quite a lot, considering the most expensive items are the unusual ones are priced at 2,500.
Now, let’s dive into some gameplay. You’ll notice the gun animations have been updated when switching weapons; it appears they’re the old 2020 ones, which I find pretty cool. It might be intentional or not, but I personally like it.
They’ve also removed the kill sounds, and honestly, I kinda like that change. Headshots feel more satisfying without the sound.
