Roblox has a new event going on in the form of The Hatch event. As part of this event, hundreds of different experiences on the platform are participating, and you can find hundreds of different elemental eggs in each of the games. By collecting eggs, you’ll be able to get rewards that so many players are on the hunt for. But does this event consist of only egg hunting? Not to worry, we have the answers for you. In this guide, we’ll give you an overview of the entire event so that you know everything you can do to maximize your rewards and experience. Let’s dive in!

The Hatch Event Guide

The Hatch event is only available for a short time – between July 2 to July 12, 2025. As a result, we recommend that you try to do everything you can between this time if you’re trying to maximize the rewards you want.

Accessing The Event

To access the event, you need to start by loading up The Hatch experience on Roblox. Once you arrive in the hub, you need to make your way to the boat on the docks. If you’re having trouble finding it, you just need to follow the green arrows.

After you get on the boat, you will be able to sail away to the actual Hatch event.

Inventory

When you open your Inventory via the icons on screen, you’ll be able to see various categories. There will be a 10 categories of eggs – each with 10 eggs that you’ll want to find. Completing one set will give you an egg accessory as a reward, with a bonus item.

For each category, there are different rarities: one Mythic, four Primals and five Commons. These represent how difficult the egg is to find.

Keep in mind that there are various ways of getting eggs – not just finding them as we’ll see further in the guide.

Quests

Another way of obtaining eggs for The Hatch event is by completing quests. You can complete quests by obtaining eggs, with some quest objectives tied to completing sets while others related to the type of egg you find.

Keep in mind that as the event progresses, more quests will unlock allowing you to potentially get even more egg rewards. So, we recommend that you check the quests tab periodically for updates. Quest unlocks will often have a timer.

Fast Travel

Fast travel allows you to quickly travel between the different islands in The Hatch. Each island has eggs that you can find and the fast travel makes it easier. Most of the islands will be unlocked at this point with each having a particular category of eggs.

You can use it to make egg hunting much easier.

Trading Station

In The Hatch area, you can also find a Trading Station, which is actually really useful if you’re trying to get all the eggs. Since there are so many eggs you’ll need to find in a limited time, trading can always help.

You can trade all kings of eggs with other players. So, for example, if you have a bunch of Common Eggs or duplicates, you’ll be able to trade them for higher rarity ones like Primals and so on.

We do recommend that you be careful when trading since trades cannot be undone. Don’t end up trading an egg that you need to complete your set or quest. Also, don’t get scammed!

But nonetheless, it’s a great way to fill in the gaps, especially if you’re struggling to complete a particular set or just don’t want to play certain experiences. It will also help you deal with getting duplicates.

Merge Station

If trading isn’t your cup of tea, you can always go to the Merge Station. Merging is great if you have multiple eggs from a lower rarity and you’re trying to get a higher rarity egg. You will need to use x7 eggs from a lower rarity to get a higher rarity egg.

For example, if you’re trying to get Primals, you can merge x7 Common Eggs. Similarly, you can merge x7 Primal Eggs to get a Mythic. Unfortunately, you can’t decide which category of egg you can get.

However, if you do end up getting an egg you don’t want, you can always consider trading it. By using both systems properly, you can efficiently get eggs.

Nests

When you complete a set of eggs, you can take them to their respective nests. There are nests scattered all around the islands, with the Connection Egg Nest being in the main Hatch area.

You can go to the nest and watch all the eggs perform a music concert – which is honestly pretty cool. Of course, besides the entertainment you’ll also be able to redeem your reward.

Finding Eggs (Portals)

To find eggs, you should head to the Portal in the main starting area. After you interact with it, you’ll be able to see all the Roblox experiences where you can currently find an egg.

Keep in mind though that the eggs are not always easy to find in the experiences. On top of that, it seems that different people found their eggs within experiences at different locations. So, it is likely that the egg locations are randomized – at least in some experiences.

As a result, you’ll really need to grind out the games and try to find the spawn points. It can take a long time, which is why we recommend you utilize all the systems to maximize your chances of completing a set.

Final Thoughts

That’s everything you need to know for the Roblox The Hatch event that launched on the platform. If you are interested in the rewards and the grind – be sure to do it before July 12 as that’s when the event will end.

The gameplay loop will revolve around you going to into experiences, collecting eggs, returning to the hub, trading or combining eggs until you are able to complete the set. This is why we recommend that you do the experiences you enjoy so that the grind will be much easier.

There are some experiences where finding eggs might be easier so be on the lookout within the community. And make sure to constantly check in the hub for new quests, portals and more!
