The Hatch Event in Roblox is packed with collectible eggs, unique biomes, and awesome cosmetic prizes. If you’re wondering where to go, what to do, and which items are worth chasing, this guide breaks it all down for you. Whether you’re hunting for a specific prize or just want to complete everything, here’s how the event works (and where you’ll find each reward!)
How the Hatch Event Works

There are 10 different biomes in the Hatch Event:
- Connection
- Light
- Darkness
- Fire
- Earth
- Water
- Energy
- Time
- Ice
- Air
Each biome has:
- A portal (used to enter a minigame zone)
- A hatched egg
- An unhatched egg

When you enter a biome’s portal, you’ll play through randomized minigames that reward you with different eggs. You’ll need to collect 10 unique eggs per biome. Once you’ve collected them all, you merge the eggs into a single biome egg, which unlocks the special cosmetic prize tied to that biome.
If you’re getting duplicates, there’s a handy trade area in the Shifting Shores hub where you can swap eggs with other players.

How to Get the Connection Egg
This one’s a bit different. To earn The Egg of the Infinite Nexus in the Connection Biome, you have to invite 5 friends and have them join your server. Once they’re all in, the egg becomes available.
Premium Track Rewards
There’s a premium version of the event available for 1,200 Robux. It grants you retextured variants of the same prizes, but you must first earn the original items before unlocking their premium versions.
Bonus: Dev-Launched Shelmet Eggs
Some rare eggs (like Shelmet of the Herald, Architect, and Builder) can only be obtained during special dev/admin live drops. Keep an eye on Roblox event announcements to catch those exclusive eggs.
If you want to make the most of the Hatch Event, it’s best to focus on one biome at a time so you don’t get overwhelmed. The trade station in Shifting Shores is super helpful if you’re dealing with a lot of duplicate eggs — it’ll save you time and frustration. If you’re aiming for the coolest cosmetics, prioritize biomes like Energy, Darkness, or Connection since their rewards (like the wings, tail, or boombox) are fan favorites. And don’t forget to invite your friends early on to unlock the Connection Egg — coordinating that part can take a bit of time.
