Roblox PS4/PS5: How to Use Game Chat & Message Friends

That’s why in this guide, I’m going to walk you through the process of chatting with your friends and fellow gamers on the PS4 and PS5 versions of Roblox, even if they’re playing on different platforms. How to Use Game Chat & Message Friends

There’s no direct way to message your friends and access the game chat in the Roblox App for PS4/PS5. However, there’s an alternative method that’s pretty straightforward.

Afterwards, look for the five icons at the bottom. Then, click on the second icon from the right, which resembles a chat symbol.

This will open your friend list, and from there, you can start one-on-one chats or group chats with other players, allowing you to communicate while you’re in the game.

While it would be great if Roblox added this feature directly to the console version, you can still connect with friends on the same console by using the PlayStation Party feature.

Even if your friends are playing on different platforms, you can always turn to apps like Discord for cross-platform communication, whether they’re on PS5, Xbox, or elsewhere.
