Rogueblox has only recently just released and boy can it be a difficult experience. With very little hand holding and permadeath, it’s an experience that will challenge the best of players. To help you out when you wipe, it can be useful to roll with a race that starts off with good buffs. The problem is that you need to use Mementos which are not easy to get – unless you’re willing to spend Robux or grind like crazy. To help you out, we’ll show you the fastest method to grind for free Mementos in the game. Without further delay, let’s dive into the guide!
How To Get Free Mementos
The free Mementos grinding method that we’ll be looking at in this Rogueblox guide will require grinding and some luck. It’s also not foolproof and may be removed by the developers, as they have removed other easy farming methods.
So, keep in mind that this method could be nerfed anytime – but as of now it is working. With the Mementos in hand, you will be able to use them for free race rerolls and upgrades.

Step 1: Find A Server With Traveling Merchant Wagon
The first step is arguably the hardest part of this method. You’ll need to start server hopping until you can find the Traveling Merchant whose wagon spawns at random locations.
Ideally, you will want this wagon to spawn in front of the beginner town, so that you can farm the method as fast as possible. So, go through different servers until you are able to find one.
This will depend on your luck and you can even settle for a wagon that is relatively near the beginner town. The closer, the better!
Step 2: Spawn Mephistopheles (Beaver)
Once you find a server where the traveling merchant wagon spawns in a good spot, enter inside. Next to the merchant, you should find a cat sitting on a chest. Walk up to the cat and pet it.
You will need to pet the cat ten times.
If you’re looking for an alternative mementos farming method, you can actually pet the cat for 10 minutes allowing you to get 1 Memento. Of course, the method we’re going through is much more efficient, so keep reading.
After petting the cat 10 times, go up the ladder and you should see that the Mephistopheles NPC has spawned, or Beaver as he’s known by some people. He is actually an Easter Egg and talking to him will give you 0.3 Mementos.
From here, all you need to do is wipe your character and you can rinse and repeat the method. We’ll show you the fastest method of doing that.
Step 3: Reset And Wipe Character
Once you’ve gotten your 0.3 Mementos, simply reset your character and you’ll respawn at Beginner Town. This will take you 30 seconds so just be patient.
After that’s done, go to the Blacksmith and stand in his fire. Doing so is the fastest method of dying in Rogueblox relatively close to beginner town. Do so until you have lost all your lives and you will be able to wipe your character.
With your character wiped, you’ll be able to make them again, where you have the option to check your Mementos and spend them. From here, all you need to do is respawn and the Traveling Merchant should still be where you found him last.
Simply repeat all the steps and repeat the loop, gathering 0.3 Mementos each run until you have the number that you want.
Sometimes, he can go away on the server when you respawn so be wary of that. If that happens, you can just go server hopping again and try to find him.
