In Rune Factory 5, there are a lot of monsters you can tame. From normal enemies you can find venturing out into the roads, to actual boss monsters that are twice as large as you but are actually adorable creatures when tamed (looking at you, Kyubi). But what are the monsters that are the best to tame? In this guide, we will show you which monsters you need to have as soon as possible. Whether it’s because of the money-making abilities or the sheer power they hold. Let’s dive into the best monsters to tame.
Best Monsters To Tame Guide – Rune Factory 5
The best monsters to tame are, surprisingly, some of the early ones you encounter in-game. The reasons vary from one monster to another, which will be explained as we get to them. This will be ranked from monsters you need to get as soon as possible to monsters you can get at your own time but early in-game.
First up is Woolies, the mascot of Rune Factory. While they don’t offer much when it comes to combat, these little guys are secretly gold mines. When you first tame your Woolies, the fur will only sell for 7 gold at its lowest level. But don’t give up on these little guys yet. Because, the more you level up the Woolies, the higher the quality the fur becomes. At max, you can sell the fur for 700 gold a piece.
Next up is another gold mine. Buffamoo’s (yes, that is its real name) are a combination of buffalos and cows, and they are the second-best gold mines in Rune Factory 5. Same with Woolies, if you level up the Buffamoo’s, their milk will increase in value up to a maximum of 500 gold.
What are the Best Monsters To Tame in Rune Factory 5?
The next one is the last gold farming animal, which is the Cluckadoodles or Chuckadoodles. There’s not really much difference between the two. However, the use of these monsters is still the same: they lay eggs. These eggs will sell for a maximum of 480 gold should they be leveled up for higher-quality eggs.
We finally move on to combat monsters, with the first being the Nine-Tailed Fox. While this boss monster isn’t as strong as the other boss monsters, it is the easiest to tame early in-game it is highly recommended to tame this boss monster so you can have an advantage in future fights.
Next and final monster on the list is Cerberus. This monster is a boss monster as well and same as the Nine-Tailed Fox, can be tamed early in the game.
With these monsters, you can breeze through the game as easy as possible due to how overly prepared you are with gold and combat monsters.
