Mobile merging game Rush Royale has changed over the years – that means a beginner’s guide is in order.

We’re going to share new tips and tricks those of you who have never played the game and decided to try today.

Complete Beginner’s Guide

The first thing you have notice after playing the game for a few minutes is probably the number of passes and packs that you can buy.

The best part of the game, however, is that the game doesn’t need one to be paid to have fun. In fact, you can dominate the field with completely free-to-play deck as long as you know what you’re doing.

Premium Pass, Store Gift & Free reward

First thing’s first, make sure to claim your pass rewards which has free tiers that you can unlock just by playing the game.

The store also regularly has gold gift that you can collect to upgrade your cards. Then, head to the community page and link to everything you know as they give you extra gems each.

Fill Up Your Board

The best tactic to dominate the field, especially early game, is to just fill up your board. Don’t stop summoning because most of the time, there’s merit in having more pieces on board than merging them. Why?

Take for example that a tower deals 30 damage with a certain interval. Merging them don’t increase damage, but only increase its ASPD.

Mathematically speaking, you will still deal more damage with 5 units on board at 150 than, let’s say, having 2 merged units of the same type at 60.

Depending on the situation, you may upgrade them early, below is an example for Arena 1. With four of the level 4 Lightning Mages on board, spending the 100 Mana to upgrade them will be worth it.

Learn Your Deck!

The most important thing about this game, however, is reading your cards! Each unit has its own specialty, like how the Priestess restores Mana when destroyed.

And as you progress in the game, you’ll realize that bringing a full DPS team isn’t going to work all the time. Or that certain decks seem to thrive the more pressure are put on them.

And while this is more advanced, make sure to check the weekly Faction that tells you what type of unit is receiving a buff that week.

This is advanced because as a beginner, the faction’s buff is not something you can capitalize on with the limited units you have.

That’s it for our beginner’s guide in Rush Royale. Let us know if you want more guide similar to this, such as what deck works best in certain Arenas.
