Despite being very clearly inspired by One Piece, Second Piece also takes inspiration from various other anime and manga franchises. Because of this, players have access to all sorts of fighting styles and various types of equipment from other series. This includes the Shadow’s Slime Sword, which is essentially a better version of Cid’s Sword.
How to Obtain Cid V2 Sword (Shadow Slime) & Showcase
Funnily enough, you don’t actually need the other version of this sword to get it. Basically, Shadow’s Slime Sword can be crafted by having the following materials:
- 15x Shadow Heart
- 75x Shadow Fragment
- 1x Shadow’s Slime Sword Craft Recipe
To get these, you will have to find legendary raid portals, which are colored red. These portals show up every few minutes, and they have a set chance of being legendary.
We are unsure what the spawn rate of red portals are, as the developer has been shifting it around recently. It should not take too long to find one, though.
All of the required items drop from bosses in the legendary raid, with the craft recipe having a varied drop rate that is based off how much damage you dealt in the instance.
Once you have all of the required materials, just go ahead and find Valefor at the Autumnal Archipelago so you can craft your very own Shadow Lord’s Sword.
Cid V2 Sword Skills
Although it is a sword, it has some impactful and wide reaching area of effect attacks that do a ton of damage. The following is a brief description of its ability set:
- Z Move – The wielder performs two short range slashes and a third, higher impact explosive slash that deals damage around you and knocks back affected enemies.
- X Move – The user will slash the air and stab the ground, dealing a lot of damage in a very large area around them.
- C Move – Similar to the previous one, but rather than stabbing the ground, the user releases a large blast of energy that also deals damage in a large area.
- V Move – After charging for a few seconds, the user summons a large beam of energy that deals a significant amount of damage in a massive area around them.
And that is pretty much everything that you need to know when it comes to getting this new sword in the game. While you’re here, go and check out our tier list of the best specs in Second Piece, so you can have a fighting style to accompany your new sword!
