The Melon is one of the new food types you can get in Secret Staycation thanks to the 1.80 “Toilet Update”, which gives us a brand-new location to explore. Of course, having new locations means there are new secrets and food types to collect! In this short guide, we’ll tell you where to find the Melon’s location and how to collect it.

How To Get Melon Location

First door from starting point

To get the Melon, you simply need to head to the bathroom that opened up with the latest update. To start, use the door closest to the game’s starting point and head down into the hallway.

Bathroom entrance

Now, you should notice a white open door at the end of the hallway. That’s the new bathroom, so just walk towards it.

Step ladder

Once you’re in the bathroom, you should see a small yellow step ladder at the start of the path leading into the toilet.

However, the Melon doesn’t actually require you to use the toilet itself at all. That’s despite it being part of the new “Toilet Update”, mind you.

All you really need to do is to check behind and under the yellow step ladder to find the Melon just lying on the floor. Simply walk up to it to collect it and unlock it as a playable foodstuff!

Remember though, don’t confuse the Melon with the Melonpan or the Watermelon.

Anyway, that’s all there is to know about how to get the Melon and its location. Surprisingly and refreshingly simple, right?

If you need help collecting other of the many food types available in the game, check out our guide on all food locations.

Also keep your eyes peeled, as we’ll be covering some of the other new food items from the Toilet Update as well. There are quite a lot of them, but they’re not all as simple to get as the Melon!
