Simulation games are the kinds of games that not a lot of people play, but the people that do play do take it seriously. Of course it depends on the player, there are some that just casually go for full simulation while there’s others that roleplay with their simulation games. Some players just like playing the game while others follow certain rules that you follow in real life too. SimRail is one of the newer train simlator games out there and there’s a lot to learn. In this guide we’ll show you when to use the Horn in the game.
When To Use The Horn In Simrail?
Jumping into SimRail as a non-train enthusiast you’ll have to learn a lot of things. From trying to drive you train, to navigating around the place. Another thing you need to know are signs, and there’s a lot of them that you need to remember. Below is an image that you might have seen, this sign means that there’s an unguarded railway crossing ahead.
This is the perfect time for you to use your horn, in fact you should use it to warn any cars in the crossing that there’s a train heading their way! There’s also the rules on how long to use your horn, and again it depends on the country but a great rule of thumb is it should be at least 15 seconds and no longer than 20 seconds.
Congratulations! You now you know what to look out for and what to do when you see that sign. Now go out there and enjoy your trains! Many thanks to d0grymejl for showing everyone what this sign means, if you need more information then please go check their guide here: Steam Community :: Guide :: When you should use horn?
