Every now and then, Genshin Impact throws us a curveball, not an epic boss fight or an intense Archon quest, but something delightfully quirky. That’s exactly what “Sing, Ho, For the Greatness of Fat!” is: a hidden World Quest tucked away in Natlan that celebrates big energy, big hearts, and, well… big bodies! In this guide, I’ll walk you through how to trigger and complete this fun little side quest, what challenges you’ll face, and of course, what rewards you’ll get along the way. If you love silly, wholesome NPCs and collecting easy Primogems, this one’s for you.

Sing Ho For the Greatness of Fat Guide

You’ll find this quest chilling in Atocpan, specifically in the Remnants of Tetenanco area. Here’s how to trigger it:

  1. Teleport to the southern Waypoint in the Remnants of Tetenanco.
  2. Head south until you spot an NPC named Suriqui trying to balance herself precariously on a rock.
  3. Walk up to her, and boom! The quest automatically starts without any prerequisite quests.

No Archon Quest locks, no region completion required, just you, Suriqui, and a whole lotta jars.

Suriqui’s Jar-Smashing Challenge

Once you chat with Suriqui, she’ll hit you with some unexpected wisdom: apparently, the heroes of old were all chubby legends who knew how to throw their weight around. To prove her point, she’ll challenge you to a good old-fashioned jar-smashing spree.

Challenge Objective: Destroy 40 jars in 1 minute and 25 seconds.

You can:

  • Use your own characters (claymore users and bow characters are pretty good here).
  • OR channel your inner dinosaur by indwelling a nearby Tatankasaurus Spiritsconce to make jar-smashing even easier.

Once you complete Suriqui’s challenge, you’ll need to take a break. The next part of the quest unlocks after 3-4 hours in real life. And nope, sadly, you can’t cheese this one with Paimon’s time-skip menu, you gotta actually wait (or should I say weight?).

Go stretch, farm some materials, do your commissions, or scroll TikTok for a bit.

Illimani’s Particle Challenge

After the waiting period, return to the same spot. You’ll now find Illimani, Suriqui’s buddy, ready to throw down his own challenge — but this one’s got a twist.

Challenge Objective: Collect 40 elemental particles in 45 seconds, without breaking a single jar!

So yeah, you went from wrecking jars to avoiding them like your life depends on it. Again, you can do this with your characters or use the Tatankasaurus Spiritsconce if you wanna make it easier.

Meet the Dynamic Duo

After completing Illimani’s challenge, you’ll spot both him and Suriqui hanging out together.
Go chat with them to officially complete the quest. You’ll also unlock a cheeky new Achievement:

Heavyweight Contender: “Skills are ineffective when facing an opponent who weighs more than three times your own.”

You’ve also snagged some extra Primogems from the earlier challenges, along with the goodies from the Exquisite Chests you’ve unlocked so far. By the end of this quest, you’ll have pocketed a total of 15 Primogems and scored 3 Exquisite Chests, not a bad haul!

Wrap-Up

“Sing, Ho, For the Greatness of Fat!” is one of those hidden gems that reminds you Genshin isn’t all about power-scaling and spiral abyss stress. Sometimes, it’s about meeting random NPCs who want to prove that heroes come in all shapes and sizes. So next time you’re in Natlan, don’t forget to stop by and hang out with Suriqui and Illimani. Smash some jars, dodge a few more, and walk away with a smile on your face. While you’re at it, why not take on the Battlegoat & Ironclaw Local Legends in Update 5.5?
