When you want to sit back and relax while slapping some people online, Slap Battles is the best game choice for you. What is even better is that there are a variety of gloves you can choose from. Each glove you add to your collection has different kinds of qualities. That is why, it is pretty important to unlock as many gloves as you can so that you will be able to have the freedom to choose from your collection. In this guide, we are going to take a look at how to get fan glove, one of the newest additions to the game.
Feel free to take a look at the table of contents below to see the sections.
How To Get Fan Glove
While some of the gloves you are going to get in Slap Battles will require you to have a certain amount of slaps, others will require you to get badges. The fan glove is one of the gloves that can only be unlocked by earning a badge in the game.
The badge you need to get is Free Oog! Badge. In its Roblox badge page, it says “He may not have any survival instinct, but he doesn’t deserve to be in a cage, a cage built by OOG.” Let’s take a look at how you are going to get it step by step.
Getting the Free Oog! Badge
Before we begin, you are going to need to have two of the three gloves we will mention to get this badge. Any of the following gloves will be enough.
- Cloud Glove: Get it by having 28,000 slaps in the game. You need to have this glove regardless of the second glove you choose.
- Space Glove: Requires 1,500 slaps.
- Balloony Glove: You can earn it by having 10,500 slaps.
Considering the amount of slaps you will need to have to get these gloves, space gloves would be the easiest one to get. However, since the cloud gloves are required regardless of what you choose, you will be able to get balloony gloves as well.
Now, if you cannot get the cloud glove because you need a lot of slaps for that one, you can get help from someone who uses cloud gloves. Either way, you need to go to the newly added portal, which is the Brazil portal.
Once you arrive at the portal, use either the space glove or the balloony glove. You will need to get closer to the portal to touch it and get teleported.
After reaching the new area, you will need to find Oog. Lucky for you, it is pretty easy to locate this character. Just turn right from the house you just got teleported in front of. Then, you will see him locked in a cage in the corner.
When you get closer to the cage, you will notice that you will need a key to unlock the door. Get through one of the openings of the cage and interact with Oog to talk with him.
Unlocking the Cage
Now, after talking with Oog, leave the cage and go straight ahead to the huge boot across. You will see a clown there, and he will ask you if you are there for the clown assistant job. Say “You bet!” and he will tell you the location of the key.
Climb on top of the boot and follow the path there. Go straight ahead and jump in the exact direction below. One thing you need to know is that each time the clock strikes 12, your character will fall on this map.
If you fall down and die, you will teleport back to the lobby. Thus, we advise you to wait until 12 to avoid this.
You will now arrive at Mortis’ office. Fall down to the secret area by walking to the pit. Then, you will see the key you are looking for right there.
After taking the key, go back to the cage and unlock the door with the key. Then, go back to the clown.
Unfortunately, Oog will die as soon as he leaves the cage. But you will get your Free Oog! badge after talking to the clown.
Fan Glove Showcase
By holding down the ability key, the user can spawn and hold a fan in front of them, causing players to move away. The fan generates a wind particle, and the power of the push is determined by the distance to the player. The fan has a circular base and a vertical pole in near-gray.
Pros and Cons
- Pros:
- Decent power and speed.
- Close players are blown with more force.
- Decent range.
- You can combo it with Brick, Goofy, and other Ragdolling gloves for massive fan boosts.
- You can use the ability even when rag-dolled or affected by Rocky’s ability.
- If you slap someone and use the ability while they are rag-dolled, they go way farther.
- You can troll ZZZZZZZ users while they are sleeping by using the ability to blow them off the map.
- The ability lasts for a decent 6 seconds.
- Players near the edge are easy kills.
- If the Fan ability is activated when there are any MR users on the map in their ability, the MR’s movement speed drastically increases, making controlling the MR ability useless.
- Cons:
- Somewhat long cooldown.
- The width of the ability is short.
- Speed-boost gloves like Speedrun, Sparky, and players affected by Conveyor’s ability in the opposite direction to your wind direction are unaffected by this.
- The fan does not affect people jumping unless you match their jump, which can be hard.
- Low gravity gloves like Moon, Space, Hybrid with jump boost ability, and Balloony can easily jump over the fan’s range.
- You cannot slap while the ability is active.
So this is how to get fan glove and the free Oog! badge in Slap Battles. It is a little bit heartbreaking to see Oog dying, but at least you now have a cool fan that will blow people away.
