In the new world, you will be required to play a team-based game mode called the King of the Hill:

  • In this game mode, your team must stay on top of the ice tower in the middle of the map. On the top of your screen, you will be able to see a 5-minute timer.
  • The timer will start to countdown as long as your team stays on top of the hill. Once the timer of a team runs out, that team wins.
  • Keep in mind that a player needs to stay on top of the hill for the timer to start counting. Other players on the team can help this player by hitting any enemy players who try to get to the top.

Here are some strategies you can also apply to increase your chances of winning the King of the Hill game mode:

  • When there is intermission between rounds, try to get the players on the other team to get into the getaway portal. You can do this by knocking them in or using snowballs. This will reduce the number of players on the enemy team and increase your chance of winning.
  • Once the match starts, head for the flag in the center but do not go directly for it. Instead, try to stay under the castle and prevent other players from climbing to the top. Then, go to the enemy spawn and start killing, spawn killing, or distract the enemy team’s players there.
  • Even if you get defeated when you try to distract the enemy team, you will have already wasted their valuable time. This will leave your team with more space to capture the flag.

If you use the tips we mentioned, you can get the Santa Gloves in less than 3 days! It is likely that you will be able to get 28 Swag Points in just 5 hours of gameplay.
