The Cycle Frontier has a lot of new things to add as Season 3 drops and lets the players experience brand new content that they can enjoy. Now is a good time to start playing the game, since newcomers get to enjoy all of this new content that wasn’t around in the beginning. However we’re not talking about new content, because we are focusing on how to fight a Howler. In this guide, we will show you how you can efficiently fight a Howler.

Howler Fight
As the name suggests, the Howler howls at you. The howl attack will disorient you for a few seconds, which is plenty enough time for it to swoop in and attack you. When this happens you need to find some cover using what little vision you have left. I do suggest you find cover behind walls. Being out in the open won’t do you much good, as the Howler can fly up and attack you while spitting range attacks towards you.
The Howler is a large beast, but you can still take it down to the ground. Your best weapons should be an assault rifle and sniper rifle. Shotguns and SMG’s won’t do you much good, since they are mostly effective in close range. You should focus on doing as much damage as you can while simultaneously getting behind cover when it attacks.
It won’t actively go down and swoop in to kill you at all times, so be sure to stay close but from a safe distance to keep the aggro.
