Sorcerer Battlegrounds is a Roblox fighting game heavily inspired by the widely popular Jujutsu Kaisen manga and anime series. There are a ton of move sets to learn and some techniques that you can master as you get better at the game.

One thing that most new players struggle with is how to properly utilize their dashes. In this article, we’ll go through a few tips to help you understand when and how you should be using these.

Complete Dash Guide + Tips & Tricks

There is not much to talk about when it comes to dashing, but you should always keep in mind that front or back dashes have longer cooldowns than those going to the sides.

Because of this, it is much better to spam side dashes if you need to quickly move around for whatever reason. During a fight, this can be the difference between slipping away or getting massively punished.

Front and Back Dashes

The main thing to keep in mind when it comes to front dashing is that there is a brief moment afterwards where you are completely vulnerable.

Having said that, you can still use it to your advantage by baiting your opponent before you dash to the front. If you can somehow get them to block at nothing or panic for a second, you can safely dash forward and attack them.

Dashing backwards, on the other hand, is mainly done to escape from enemies as it will create the most distance between you and your opponent. You can then dash forwards to punish a missed attack as a result.

One seemingly unintended mechanic that you can abuse is to first dash to the side and immediately perform a backwards dash while also casting an ability at the same time.

For some reason, this will allow you to start casting the ability as your character model is sliding backwards and even shortly after you can freely move again.

Dashing to the Sides

Dashes going to the side (left or right) have a much lower cooldown, and they barely, if ever, have any period of vulnerability afterwards. This means that you can safely use these repeatedly while attacking.

In addition to performing what are essentially drive-bys by dashing to the side and attacking, you can also use it to confuse your enemies or go around a block.

That is pretty much everything you need to know about dashing in Sorcerer Battlegrounds. It is a relatively simply mechanic of the game, but a lot of players tend to be confused by the differences between dashing in different directions, so hopefully this helps!
