Soul Knight Prequel: Best Soul Keeper Build Guide & End Game

In Soul Knight Prequel, the Soul Keeper is the combination of the Aegis and Animancer class in the game. Its gameplay revolves around summoning an army of (tanky) minions to fight for you, in contrary to the Shinobi’s summoning mechanic (where they fight alongside you).

That’s why we’ll use the Fatebounds and equipment to further empower the summon mechanic. In this guide, I’ll show you how you can effectively play the Soul Keeper class by utilizing the best build possible!

Equipment & Item Set

Here’s a sample equipment or item set that you can use as reference for your builds. Basically, the build consists of:

Now, if you’ll notice the last 3 items aren’t really legendaries compared the other 3 before them – the reasoning for this is that you’ll need the Fatebounds – Bonded Summons and Field Marshal, which are incredibly difficult to farm (even more if together) from legendary items.

This is because the first two fatebounds are locked in Boss or Legendary Weapons, and unlocking the said Fatebounds from blues is comparatively more convenient to accomplish. Also, greens will work as long as you get the Fatebounds.

As for the item bonuses, you’d want to aim for as much as Minion power as possible, while for the other stats, you must also consider STR, Cold Damage and Defenses.

Fatebound Items & Bonuses

  • Spirit of the Alpha Yeti (Lvl 2) – Synergizes well with your summons/minions (Myrmidon Reinforcer & Armaros), will be one of your main sources of DPS.
  • Heavy Armor (Lvl 3) – This will not only make your tanky, but your summons as well because of Bonded Summons.
  • Field Marshal (Lvl 3) – It will let you summon more units, which is kinda broken tbh (considering you have so many buffs/bonuses for your summons), even more when mixed with Bonded Summons.
    • It also provides bonus Minion damage.
  • Bonded Summons (Lvl 3) – It’s quite the most broken Fatebound in the game, even stronger than Legendaries in the game. It’s what makes the summoning classes (Shinobi & Soul Keeper) the strongest/best class options.
    • What it does is that it grants the weapon Fatebounds you have – to your summons (like Backlash) and turn it 3/3 for them, as well as providing bonus Minion damage.
  • Frigid Core (Lvl 3) – Synergizes with Spirit of the Alpha Yeti fatebound, and of course, your weapon. It will also apply for the Frost Damage your summons deal.

Stat Spread

It’s pretty straightforward for your stat spread & allocation; you’ll want to go Full STR, since you won’t really need DEX, as well as INT.

Your minion/summons will do most of the hark work for you.

Skill Tree / Set

As for the Skill Tree or set, I won’t get into too much detail, but you’d want to invest in all the auras (for both trees – ignore most of the Aegis skill tree, they’re bad compared to Animancer), as well as passives to further increase the power and tanky-ness of your summons.

You may refer to the skill tree image/s below for some insight.

As for the actives, you’d mostly want to invest for the unit summon abilities (like Door of Guf, Amalgamate, Myrmidon Enforcer and Summon Armaros) as well as Mortal Pact (absolutely bonkers ability for summons – your summons are unkillable).

As for Pets, why are you even asking for that? You have like more than 10 bouncers guarding you! Jokes aside, you can use the Owl or Panda – consider taking buffs that synergize with your damage output/build.

And there you have it! That’s the best build for the Soul Keeper in Soul Knight Prequel. Do you have a build you’d like to share as well? If you have questions or concerns, feel free to leave them in the comments section below.
