If youāre looking for a class with lots of survivability; good defense and lifesteal, as well as decent damage output in Soul Knight Prequel, the Stormwarden might just be the choice for you.
The Stormwarden is a combination of the Aegis & Tempest Mage ā with the playstyle revolving around the ability of spamming your attacks, while not worrying about dying. Itās pretty straightforward, really.
But to help you understand even better, Iām here to give you the best Stormwarden build, Fatebounds that you can use up to Carnelian rank & End game!
Best Stormwarden Build Guide & End Game
Equipment & Item Set
Here is a sample equipment set, which mostly consists of Archwizard (Necklace, Shoes, Armor) & Goblin Highpriest Items (Ring, Weapon). As for the helmet, you can farm it in the Volcano Area or from the shop.
As for the stat or bonus spread of your equipment, youād want to make sure you have enough CD & Mana Regen. Also, itās even better if youāre able to fit in some All/Cold/Crit DMG bonuses there.
Basically, youāll want to get all of these not only for the innate bonuses they offer, but also for the Fatebound bonuses they provide, which Iāll discuss below.
Fatebound Items & Bonuses
- Soul of ArchMage Lvl 3 ā (Extra DEX Stats)
- Soul of Goblin Lvl 2 ā Itās good since youāll be tanking damage and casting your skills a lot. It will offer decent sustain for both HP & Mana.
- Twin Novae Lvl 2/3
- Hyperfocus Lvl 3
- Epicenter Lvl 2/3 ā (Intercchangeable with Twin Novae)
- Mage Vestment ā For more CD & Mana Regen, since youāll be spamming your abilities a lot
- Echocasting Lvl 2
- Lifesteal Lvl 2
Stat Spread
Basically, youāll want to go Full STR with your innate stats (for lots of HP and Physical Damage), while you allocate the other stat left to DEX/INT. Also, you donāt have to worry about DEX as your item/equipment will compensate for going Full Strength anyways.
Skill Tree / Set & Gameplay
In this section, Iāll show you my preferred skill tree allocation (as shown in the image below), as well as how to utilize them.
- NOTE: Keep in mind that you need all active passive % Buff Skills.
- Combo 1: Shield Bash + Avalanche Ram (Passive) ā Youāll be spamming this ability a lot since it doesnāt consume too much mana and it offers the most reliable source of DPS.
- Basically, it lets you dash in a straight line and deal damage to units youāll hit along the way.
- When mixed with Avalanche Ram, it will provide extra Cold DMG based on Hybrid Attack Power.
- Combo 2: Combo 1 + Thundersledge ā To sum it up, an AOE around you will receive extra damage which further increases your DPS as youāll be sticking a lot to your enemies, even more when you spam your Combo 1 (based on Hybrid Attack Power as well).
- Combo 3: Leaping Strike + Glacial Domain (Auto Proc) ā You jump into a large AOE which can freeze/daze and deals huge damage to enemies around the area.
- At max rank, it has total of 5 stacks which you can use consecutively.
- Youāll want to spam use this every time it hits 5 stacks, and then go back to your Combo 1 as you wait for your stacks to refresh.
- At max rank, it has total of 5 stacks which you can use consecutively.
- Kinetic Barrier (Active): Gives you a shield based on your STR for 15 seconds, basically makes your more tanky, so you can go face first and bash your enemies your Combos.
- Passive Abilities & Auras to Take:
- Indomitable Blows + Thunderous Determination
- Steadfast
- Lancing Lightning
- Smooth Sailing
- Shatter
- Tempest Aura
- Devotion Aura
- Avalanche Ram
- Crystalline Panoply
Boons of The Valkyrie & Pet
- Gungnir + Shield Bash
- Thorās Demesne + Leaping Strike
- Ginunggapās Effulgence + Thundersledge
- Yanyan (Orange Dragon) is the best option for your pet, but you can also use Snowflake (Blue Dragon).
- However, if you donāt have any of the Dragon/s, you can use Owl, Tiger or Panda as alternatives.
