Special Anime Defense has a limited event in its latest update, and you can potentially get a new unit out of it. More specifically, you can get the unit known as Itochi, who is pretty much just Itachi from Naruto. In this guide, we will be showing you how to get it and what it can do!
How to Get Itachi & Showcase
Let’s keep this short and simple. In order to get Itachi, you must play the Sand Village map on Infinite mode. In order to access this, you will need to progress through the different maps first, which shouldn’t be an issue if you have already been playing for a while.
Itachi has an unknown drop rate from this game mode. All we know so far is that there is a chance for him to drop whenever you kill a boss, which appears after set numbers of waves. Hopefully you have a powerful loadout to withstand later waves if you don’t get him ASAP!
It is also highly recommended to run it with a group so that you can speed through the waves and ensure that nothing will leak.
One very important thing to note is that there is a limited number of these being distributed to everyone. As of writing this, there are already negative Itachi units left up for grabs but the number is still going down, somehow.
If you want a chance to get it, you should really hurry up and login right now. To check the event information, just approach Kakashi near the lobbies, assuming he’s still there by the time you see this.
The assumption right now is that the unit is still likely to drop until the developers remove the event manually, even if there are no stocks left. No guarantees though.
UPDATE: A few hours after writing this, the developers refreshed the stock and there are over 9000 left again, so get in the game and try to get one now! If it reaches negative again, the same assumption above applies.
Itachi / Itochi Showcase
Itochi is a ground unit that starts off with an area of effect attack where he summons a giant red and black orb (forming what appears to be his Sharingan). This will explode and deal damage to anything caught in it after a brief moment.
With its base stats, it attacks at roughly every seven seconds but can deal hundreds worth of damage and has a decent range. With a few upgrades, his damage will quickly shoot up to around 1800+ with a 6.5 SPA.
After that, for the fifth upgrade, his attack will change completely and roll back his seconds per attack to 8. Instead of the Sharingan attack, he will instead be using his Susanoo, which is also very accurate to how it was depicted in the anime.
When this upgrade is carried out, his attack pattern will change from a circle to a fairly wide cone. Instead of a single attack, his damage is now split among three slashes.
For example, without any traits, unit levels, or buffs active, his damage with the first Susanoo upgrade is 2142. Whenever he attacks, he will perform three slashes that each deal 714 damage.
In addition to that, these attacks also seem to inflict a weak burning effect that will deal a small amount of damage over time. This means that his DPS with Susanoo may actually be higher than what his stats show.
The base version of Itochi with no levels caps out at a little over 3000 DPS and 7.4 SPA once he is fully upgraded in a match. This makes him fairly powerful and a worthy addition to any loadout, especially when paired with some fast hitters to deal with mobs while he recovers.
And that is pretty much everything you need to know in order to get the limited Itochi (Itachi) unit in this fairly new tower defense game. If you missed the event and didn’t get the chance to find him, don’t lose hope as there might be a trading function in the near future!
