Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 may be a sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man on the PlayStation 4, but you will need to also play Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales to get a better understanding of the story in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
There are side quests and story parts that require you to have knowledge of the events of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Since it includes characters like Aaron Davidson, who is better known as the Prowler. In this guide, I will show you how to follow Aaron’s instructions as he tells you how to get into one of his secret hideouts.
Follow Uncle Aaron’s Instructions Guide
When you start the mission, you will have to hold L2 to see that you have a scanner of some sorts.
Moving the camera around will result in the scanner beeping to tell you that you are close to where you need to go or far from it.
Go to the area that has a large metal structure against the wall and hold L2. You will see that there are green particles floating around.
Analyze the green particles by keeping the reticle on it and you will eventually finish analyzing the green particles.
After analyzing the green particles, you will then be put into a minigame.
- You’ll need to hold L2 and R2 with the correct amount of pressure to keep the blinking dots in the gray square.
- Don’t fully hold down the L2 and R2 buttons, as it will put the blinking dots at the bottom.
- Simply apply enough pressure to move the dots to the gray square.
- Once they’re there, simply keep that pressure until the minigame is finished. This will cause the metal structure on the wall to start showing purple particles this time.
The purple particles cannot be analyzed. They are actually guides on what you need to do next.
Stand on the right side of the area and you will get the prompt to hold L1 and R1 to web the metal structure and open it like a gate. This will reveal another gate behind it.
Same thing as before, you will need to analyze the gate. Keep the scanner on the green particles until it completes, and you will then be able to do the same minigame again.
This one will be slightly different compared to the last minigame. This one has a smaller box on the left while the right box is much bigger.
The way to complete it is still the same: apply enough pressure on the L2 and R2 buttons to keep the dots in the boxes. This will then show you another set of purple particles.
This is the last step in order to get into Aaron’s secret Prowler hideout. To open the last gate, you will need to go up.
Once you are up on a railing, look down and you will see the prompt to web the bottom of the gate and get it open.
You can then go inside the hideout and collect Prowler’s tech, which will finish the objective.
