Star Wars Jedi: Survivor sees the return of the Mantis, Greez’s ship from Fallen Order. The Mantis is Cal’s and his crew’s home. So, they have to make sure that the ship is in working condition at all times, unless they want to explode while in hyperspace.
The ship has certainly seen some better days during the 5 years between Fallen Order and Survivor, which is why Cal has to constantly check in on it. In this guide, we will be showing you how to get back to the Mantis after one of Cal’s adventures on Koboh.
Check on the Mantis Guide
After Cal’s adventure in the Basalt Forest, Cal needs to return to the Mantis to check on it. However, he seems to be stuck.
First thing you need to do is to have Cal run to the left and wall run across. The ground beneath him is slippery, so he won’t be able to move on foot. But he can, however, move on the walls.
Continue wall running until you see a grapple point. Immediately use your Ascension Cable and bring yourself to the wall.
Once on the wall, keep climbing to the right until you reach the point where you need to drop down and slide down the slope.
Go inside the cave, you will find a Nekko. Approach it and press the button prompt to tame the Nekko. This will unlock the ability to ride all Nekko’s on Koboh.
With the Nekko’s, you can now go up the slippery slopes. Follow the path up while on the Nekko.
You will soon reach a gate that cannot be opened. Here, you will need to press the jump button and press it again when the Nekko is in mid-air for Cal to jump over the gate. Once Cal is over the gate, open it because you will still need the Nekko to continue.
Soon, you will enter the Bygone Settlement area. You can explore here as much as you like, but I wouldn’t recommend it until you finish the game.
Keep going through the old settlement and you will soon see the Mantis flying through the area and landing on the landing pad near Pyloon’s Saloon.
Make a beeline towards the Mantis and you will find Zee standing outside. Dismount the Nekko and talk to Zee, and you will complete the mission objective.
That’s all you need to know when you reach this part of the story. Did this guide help you out? Let us know in the comments.
