Stardew Valley has just recently come out with a new update with its 1.6 update, and it’s adding a lot of things that will keep Stardew Valley players busy for the upcoming months until the next update. If you’re looking to start Stardew Valley, then now is the perfect time since its release, having almost four times the content it has now compared to back then. But you might get confused about some things, like what does “You sense a new way, it’s open” mean? In this guide, I will show you what that means in the game and what you should do.
What Does “You Sense a New Way It’s Open” Mean?
When you’re playing the game now after Updating to 1.6, whether you are just joining or have been playing for a while, you will get a text prompt that says, “You sense a new way, it’s open”. It sounds ominous, but I promise it’s nothing scary. The hard part is actually looking for it, as it doesn’t tell you where it is exactly. Luckily, it’s not that far.
Just south of the ranch, you can find a door on the right side of the area. It’s the new path that is mentioned, and you can go through it since you got the text prompt. Just be sure to go in prepared in case something unsavory might happen.
How to Open the New Path
If you haven’t gotten the text prompt yet, then that means that you haven’t accumulated enough XP that will allow the path to be opened. You can do that by either mining rocks, slaying monsters, chopping down trees, harvesting crops, or catching fish. This is especially time consuming for those who are just starting.
That’s all you need to know on what to do when you get the prompt in Stardew Valley. Did this guide help you understand what you need to do when you get the message? Let us know in the comments below.
