Stardew Valley – Fall Crops Tier List

When you value efficiency over the profit you tend to take forever thinking about which crop is best while also forgetting the fact that you left the game running, too late you’ve already passed out, lucky for you Linus didn’t borrow any of your belongings this time!

Point is, profit isn’t always the answer when playing Stardew Valley, sometimes you just want to gather crops to make specific items or gifts that you can hand out to the locals.

Well with the tier list you’ll be going through below, you’ll have no problem deciding later on which ones are best to have on your farm before winter comes knocking!

Fall Crops Tier List – Stardew Valley

We’re going to only look at the base crop in this list, so if you happen to come across the Summer crop tier list and are wondering why some crops have moved up a notch then that means they’re useful in other ways for the current season!

S Tier

  • Sweet Gem Berry
  • Cranberries
  • Fall Seeds
  • Grape

If you’re looking for crops to gather before Winter while after a good base profit at the same time, then look no further from the items listed on this tier as you only have to wait for 3-5 days after your initial harvest to make up for what you’ve lost!

A Tier

  • Artichoke
  • Pumpkin

For a reasonable amount of gold (especially for the pumpkin) waiting for at least a week or two isn’t that bad of a trade, and being a gift that’s loved by three people is always a plus.

B Tier

  • Amaranth
  • Beets
  • Bok Choy
  • Corn

Seeing different colors is always welcome on any farm, with the crops above you’ll be sure to have a good time walking through the tall grass while still maintaining a decent profit if that’s what you’re after!

C Tier

  • Eggplant
  • Fairy Rose
  • Yams

Saving money can be quite difficult if you have a thorn on your side like the Fairy Rose, it hurts the wallet along with the other crops but if you enjoy giving rather than receiving they’re still pretty reasonable to have around your farm.

D Tier

  • Sunflower
  • Wheat

The last two crops are simply just not that worth it on their own, if you’re already thinking of how expensive the Speed-Gro will be and how little you have then you would be right to steer clear of these crops until losing money is no longer a problem for you.

With that ends the Tier List for Fall!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
