Tales of Tanorio is a new Roblox game that borrows a lot of elements from the widely popular Pokemon franchise. Just like with the recent games that Nintendo put out, this game has its own mount system that will let you travel through the map much faster than if you were on foot. Here is a quick guide showing you all of the ones in the game at the moment!
All Mounts Guide & Showcase
First up, all players will get a free mount once you progress through the story enough. I won’t spoil what happens just in case you are interested in following the story, but basically, you will need to do the following first:
- Pick a starter
- Go through the first few routes
- Reach Arksworth
- Finish the Arksworth museum mission
- Meet with the family of a certain NPC
This is a fairly straightforward process with a linear path through the different zones, so you can’t really get lost along the way. After you reach a certain point, you will get a Bjorkchop Mount.
All you have to do in order to use it is to open the Tanorians menu and click on Mounts. Click on the saddle and press Use. Once you’re back in the overworld, press shift to ride your mount (you may have to press it twice).
The free Bjorkchop Mount is basically a large green pig that hobbles around at a decently fast pace. As far as I know, all of the other mounts have the same speed, though don’t quote me on that.
All the Other Mounts (And How to Get Them)
A little further through the story, you will eventually reach Nikido City, which is also home to the game’s first stadium. This is where you will find the mount store.
The mount store can be found to the side, just before Nikido Theaters. It has a statue of a Tanorian holding up a person right above the door, so you can’t miss it.
Unfortunately, the only way to buy any of the other mounts at the moment is through Robux. There is conflicting information as to whether or not they will be available for in-game currency in the future.
Just keep checking the store every time the game is updated, as there does seem to be a price tag for both Robux and in-game money, but you can only use Robux at the moment.
Ballisect Mount (150 Robux)
The Ballisect Mount has your character riding the rocket–like creature as it zips around in the air. It is the evolved version of a Bombeetle, which is a hybrid bug/fire type Tanorian.
Doopy Mount (150 Robux)
The Doopy Mount is a funny one, as you aren’t actually riding it with a saddle. Instead, your character will be standing on the coconut shell on top of this normal type dog-like Tanorian.
Astaroid Mount (150 Robux)
The Astaroid Mount is, weirdly enough, required to have a saddle even though you essentially just step on it like it is a hoverboard. The Astaroid itself is a blue star creature that floats in the air.
Vipress Mount (150 Robux)
The Vipress Mount is also pretty silly as it gleefully carries you over its head. This is the evolved form of Opaline, which is a hybrid dragon/fairy type Tanorian.
Dynastogun Mount (300 Robux)
Rather than riding the Dynastogun Mount, it actually cradles you in its arms as it flies around with its little wings. This Tanorian is the evolved form of the bug-type Stagurai.
Guardemis Mount (300 Robux)
The Guardemis Mount, just like the previous one, carries you around in its arms as it runs around. This Tanorian is the final evolution of Rabush, which is the grass type starter.
Jespirit Mount (300 Robux)
Your character will get on the back of the Jespirit Mount like most of the other “regular” mounts that you saddle up on. This is the final evolution of Chewaqua, which is the water-type starter.
Ignidall Mount (300 Robux)
The Ignidall Mount is a flying snake-like creature with wings, and your character rides on its back like they’re on a dragon. It is the final evolution of Charcile, which is the fire-type starter.
Dandylion Mount (300 Robux)
The Dandylion Mount takes on the appearance of a large green and yellow lion that is, as the name implies, inspired by dandelions. It is the final evolution of Kitweed.
Pirrat Mount (300 Robux)
The Pirrat Mount is basically a flying pirate-themed parrot that flies around as your character rides on its back. It is the evolved form of Chicrook, which is a hybrid air/dark type Tanorian.
And those are all of the mounts currently implemented in the game, with more possibly being added as future updates are rolled out by the developers.
