There are so many interesting Tanorians that you can catch and collect in Tales of Tanorio. You can find a variety of types all over the world. As you come across them, you get various opportunities to catch them. However, the Shiny Tanorions are really rare since they are a special type.
Additionally, not all Shinies in Tales of Tanorio are the same. Some of them are much rarer to get than others. In this guide, we will show you the rarest shinies that you should watch out for. We will also show you how you can get them, if you are trying to catch them. With that said, let’s dive in!
Rarest Shinies & How To Get Them
We will be looking at how you can get 5 Rarest Shinies in Tales of Tanorio. Keep in mind that a lot of the methods we will touch upon will depend on sheer luck.

Rarest Shinies #1 – Starter Shinies
The first shinies that are the rarest to get in Tales of Tanorio are Shiny Starters. They are basically the shiny versions of the starter Tanorians that you can choose at the start of the game.
There are two ways in which you can get Starter Shinies. They are:
- Reset Starters in the Lab until you get the Shiny.
- Hunt Starters using Conservation Incenses.
The first method can be done when you are in the lab at the start of the game. During this part of the game, you are required to choose a starter for yourself. After you choose one, a cutscene plays in which your starter Tanorian will walk out.
So, you will keep resetting the game and getting your Tannorian until you see that the Shiny version has walked out of the lab. Otherwise, you’ll need to keep resetting.

The second method involves using Conservation Incense, which is a really rare drop. You can get Conservation Incenses as drops by completing Ruptures.
Otherwise, you’ll need to purchase them with 250 Robux.
Rarest Shinies #2 – Shiny Fordrake
The next Rarest Shiny in the game is Shiny Fordrake. Fordrake is an exceptional looking specimen that a lot of players have wanted to get. This is because of the black and gold skin that he has which looks extremely cool!
However, Shiny Fordrake is extremely difficult to get because of his extremely low base odds. The odds to get him are 1 in 200k! This is because there is only a 1% chance for you to find just the normal version inside the Malchite Mines Depths. This area is accessible through Kaignan Canyon.
Additionally, there are no Overworld encounters for him which further adds to the difficulty.
However, with Shiny Chaining you can increase your odds. This means locating normal Fordrakes in the Mine Depths and killing them to increase your chances of running into the Shiny. This can be difficult, however, since even the normal version can be so difficult to find.
As a result, you will need to grind quite a bit. Eventually, at maximum odds, you can increase your chances to 1 in 25600 of getting him. Still pretty low, but much higher than the previous odds!
Rarest Shinies #3 – Shiny Scharachnid
A really strange Tanorian that you can meet while wandering in the game is a Shiny Scharachnid. It is extremely rare to encounter, with a less than 1% chance of spawning in the Whispering Woods.
On top of that, it is also a Lvl 40 Tanorian. As a result, fighting it is also extremely difficult and you’ll need to bring a high level Tanorian of your own. Only then will you actually lower its health and be able to catch it.
Rarest Shinies #4 – Shiny Event Drippo
There is a really rare version of Drippo that you can get in the game known as Shiny Event Drippo. It is one of the rarest and most difficult to get, both because of the odds, requirements and how difficult it is to get.

Here are the requirements that you will need to complete first to find Shiny Event Drippo:
- Complete the Second Stadium
- Locate a 7 Star Rupture after it spawns
- Join the Rupture Event and attempt to catch Shiny Event Drippo.
On the surface, it will seem like he is not that hard to come upon with a 1 in 2500 chance to spawn. However, there is a 1 in 5 chance for him to actually be inside the Rupture Event. Additionally, there is a 1 in 500 chance for him to be Shiny in the event itself.
So, combining these odds, it becomes incredibly difficult to get him. On top of that, you also need a strong Lvl 40 Tanorian to just have a chance to actually defeat it. So, you’ll really need to bring your A game if you want to catch it!
However, we strongly recommend trying to get him. This is because he has the potential to become the rarest skin or Tanorian in the game in the future!
Rarest Shinies #5 – Shiny Flowither
By far the rarest Shiny in Tales of Tanorio is Shiny Flowither. Starting off, you will actually need to go through a difficult boss fight at the Kaignan Cliffs just to unlock the Legendary Flowither.
After that, there is a 1 in 2 million base odds just to be able to encounter a Shiny version of the Flowither in the wild. You can increase these chances to 1 in 256,000 through Shiny Chaining. However, since it is so rare to encounter one, chaining will take a lot of time.
So, if you do really want one, you will need to get extremely lucky!
