Let's go catch this guy!

Listen, I’m not going to try to convince you that Tales of Tanorio is one of the best games on Roblox. Nope, most definitely not. I’m not going to tell you that it’s a surprisingly inspired take on a Pokémon game, and how it’s actually better than many of the older, beloved fangames out there. What I’m going to do, however, is I’m going to help you answer one of the questions gamers have posed within the game: such as where to find Strange Thief.

The Strange Thief is just one of the many NPCs in the game that have a surprising amount of character, considering it’s a Roblox game. There are so many Roblox titles that focus only on gameplay and have the NPCs as exposition-givers; nothing more.

In Tales of Tanorio, it’s different — but it’s also easy to miss this guy, so I’m here to help!

Where To Find Strange Thief

Now, I’ll share a bit of backstory so you can get caught up before we move to the guide. When you go through the game’s surprisingly good storyline, you’ll make it to Arksworth. Of course, Arksworth is one of the game’s cities, and the devs made sure it’s a city that turns heads.

Lots of lore to be found!

Within this city is the Arskworth Museum, which holds plenty of historical significance in the game because it shares the deep lore of Tales of Tanorio. This is pretty much where you start, as you’ll be meeting up with Kira to catch this Strange Thief.

From the Museum, you’re going to want to head over to the park, which I’ve outlined here:

Following the path in Tales of Tanorio
Just follow the red string!

Once you’ve reached the park area, you’ll be heading left. Many Roblox players are quite young, so they have a tendency to follow the path in front of them. This is pretty much the reason why some players get lost looking for this guy.

SIDE NOTE: This is a game about catching’em all. So, if you want to do so, here’s how to find all Tanorians in the game!

In any case, all you have to do is follow the image below:

You’re almost there!

Gotcha, Thief!

You’ll see Kira interacting with the Strange Thief. If you’re currently going through the storyline, then you’ll have a little cutscene as well as a Tanorio Double Duel. In this type of game mode, you’ll be facing two Tanorians at once. Naturally, you’ll also have two of your own Tanorians in the fight with you.

At this point, an Tanorian you have will do in the fight against the Strange Thief. However, you won’t have the early Tanorians for long. How about we help you find the Fordrake Pseudo Legendary!

Fortunately, it’s a pretty simple process to beat these Tanorians, so you won’t need any coaching from me. After all, the only thing I can say about it is “attack them until they go down.”

Take’em down!

That’s pretty much all you need to do! The great thing about Tales of Tanorio is that the fun is just beginning. We’ve got many more guides to help you out! For example, you’ll eventually have to head to Everlush Town. Here’s a quick guide to Everlush Town if you’re interested!

Oh also, while you’re here: You’ll also want to learn the best ways to farm EXP and cash in Tales of Tanorio!
