Tears of the Kingdom, after talking to Koltin and finishing The Hunt for Bubbul Gems side quest, you’ll be able to give him Bubbul Gems. There’s plenty of these gems scattered around the map of the game and they’re often inside Bubbul Frogs. All you need to do is find these frogs and beat them up until they give you the gem!
In this guide, we’ll show you how to get the Bubbul Frog in the Ancient Prison Ruins. Now let’s find out where this frog is!
Ancient Prison Ruins Bubbul Frog Location
Looking for Bubbul Frogs can be tricky because of how they’re always in the most secluded places and areas.
Here are the steps we’ll take to find this Bubbul Frog:
- Locate the Ancient Prison Ruins in the Palu Wastelands;
- Go through the Ruins and Find the Bubbul Frog;
- Defeat the Bubbul Frog;
- Get the Bubbul Gem!
Detailed Walkthrough
First off, you’ll need to go to the Palu Wasteland which is east of Gerudo Town. There you’ll find a sinkhole in the sand.
The exact coordinate of the sinkhole is -3106, -3064, 0010. Just go down the sinkhole and it’ll lead you to the Ancient Prison Ruins.
Once you enter the ruins go forward until you see this lever shown below. Use your Ultrahand to pull the lever and open the gate into the ruins.
Once you go through the gate go left and then to the second right. You’ll see a Statue, go to where the statue is pointing its sword.
There you’ll find another lever that you’ll need to use your Ultrahand on. Once you pull the lever go to the right shown below.
This will lead you to a small room where you’ll need to crouch through a hole on the wall to continue. Go through the room onto the other side where you can find some rocks that can lead you up.
The moment you get up go forward and down to the next room.
That room has the Bubbul Frog and all you need to do is defeat it to get the Bubbul Gem!
