Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower is one of the 15 Skyview towers in Tears of the Kingdom. The main purpose of these towers is simple. They uncover the sky and surface map, revealing the region where they are located. It’s also the connection between land and sky, making it the gateway to rise above.
As mentioned before, there are lots of towers in the game. In this article, I will focus on the Gerudo Highland Tower. Unlocking it can be tricky. That’s why we’re here, to save you time and show you how to explore the tower with ease!
Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower
The tower is located in the snow-covered region of Gerudo. I will show you how to reach the tower and the coordinates for better map navigation. Let’s begin!
- Firstly, be sure you are in the Gerudo Highlands region. Obviously, you haven’t unlocked the region, you won’t see any map icons. Making it hard to spot the tower, that’s where the coordinates come in. See the picture below.
- After you reach the location, you will spot the tower. However, the tower seems to look small and there is no entrance. That’s because the tower is buried in snow. You will need to find another way in.
- Face the tower then turn right. You will see a small cave entrance. Enter the cave proceeding down to the next destination. You will also discover a new location called Meadela’s Mantle Cave.
How to reach the entry spot
Entering the tower is not like going inside the mall using the front entrance. Here you will use the Ultrahand ability and the Ascend ability. If you don’t have these abilities, you won’t be able to enter the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower.
Ascend ability is unlocked by completing a main mission The Closed Door. Let’s proceed on how to reach the entry spot.
- Once you’re inside the Cave, you will find a few wooden planks and a stream of water. Use your Ultrahand ability to lift one of the wooden planks and place it on the water. Ride the plank and try not to fall. You can create your raft using Zonai devices, But I prefer you stick to using a simple wooden plank.
- The water flow will carry you to where you should be, the entry spot to the tower. Be careful though, there is a drop right before the wooden beam and platform. You will get wet!
- You will see a wooden platform rising above the water. Go below the wooden ceiling and use your Ascend ability to get inside the tower.
- The tower can now be activated once inside. After activating the tower, you may now have a full view of the region on your map.
There you have it. The location and guide on how to unlock the snowy region of Gerudo Highlands. But that’s not all of them! You shall seek more of these towers and unlock more regions for you to explore on your journey. Who knows, you might find something interesting.
