Our journalist friend, Penn, is once again looking for news to cover in Tears of the Kingdom. In this side quest, you’ll come across a worried cook who’s expecting to meet with some regular guests. Oddly enough, the guests are late, and we don’t know the reason why. As always, Link is here to help out those in need! In this guide, we’ll take a closer look on how to easily complete the “Gourments Gone Missing” side quest!
Gourmets Gone Missing Guide
- Talk with Gotter, in the Riverside Stable.
- Cross the river, walk through the forest towards east until you reach a path.
- On the path, walk straight and continue towards the west path until you reach these coordinates (0538, -1190, 0016).
- Talk to Agus and make a “Meat and Rice Bowl”.
- Hand over the meal to Agus.
- Return to Penn to complete the quest.
Detailed Gourmets Gone Missing Guide
To start the quest, you’ll have to first talk to our bird friend, Penn located in the riverside in Hylia River in coordinates (0374, -1040, 0015).
After talking to Penn, he’ll point you towards a concerned cook named, Gotter across the Riverside Stable. Talk to the cook and he’ll tell you about his overdue guests. To find the guests, he’ll give you information about a recipe and tents. This is what we’ll be looking for!
From Gotter, jump across the fence and cross the river.
Once you cross the river, you’ll have to go east and find a signboard with a man on it. From there, you’ll find a path. Follow the path straight until you find the path separated into two.
From there, go west and follow the path until you come across the tents on the right side of the path. Speak to the man on the left, named Agus.
After talking to Agus, he’ll tell you about the recipe on the table. You’ll have to go cook the food on the recipe called “Meat and Rice Bowl”. Here’s the materials and where/how you can find them:
- Hylian Rice – sold in general stores.
- Raw Meat – dropped from wild animals.
- Rock Salt – mined from mineral veins in caves.
Once you have the materials, hold them and put them in the cooking pan just beside the table. After that, hand the “Meat and Rice Bowl” over to Agus. The guests will now get well thanks to your help.
To complete your quest and get your reward, you’ll have to return to Penn. He’ll give you a Purple Rupee (50 rupees) and a Lucky Clover Gazette Fabric for assisting the friendly bird. Not only that, but you can now use the “Meat and Rice Bowl” recipe as a reward for helping out Gotter’s guests.
