There are two variations of the Carrot Cake, one gives you an increase in stamina, which allows you to walk, run, and swim far distances. The other one gives the haste effect that significantly enhances your speed.
How to Make Carrot Cake In Tears of the Kingdom
In order to make the Carrot Cake in Tears of The Kingdom, gather the following ingredients.
- 1 Tabantha Wheat: This grain is cultivated extensively on the Tabantha Plains. You can use this item to make things such as stews and breads.
- 1 Goat Butter: Butter made from the milk of a domesticated white goat.
- 1 Cane Sugar: This item is commonly found in ingredient stores.
- 1 Swift Carrot/1 Endura Carrot: This carrot is cultivated extensively in villages. Based on which type of carrot you used, you will gain either the extra stamina effect or the haste effect.
Once you have gathered all the ingredients, find yourself a stove and put all your ingredients in the pot. After a short while, the ingredients will be cooked and you will be able to receive your Carrot Cake.

Swift Carrots
In order to obtain Swift Carrots, you can buy them from the High Spirits Produce Shop in Kakariko Village for 16 Rupees each. Another place you can buy Swift Carrots is the East Wind Shop in Hateno Village for 16 Rupees.
You can also find Swift Carrots near Hateno School to the South.
Endura Carrots
You can find Endura Carrots near Rutile Lake, you can see the image down below for the exact location. You can try using the coordinates of -2478, -0641, 0208.
Goat Butter
In order to obtain Goat Butter, you can buy them from the High Spirits Produce Shop in Kakariko Village for 12 Rupees each. Another place you can buy Goat Butter is the East Wind Shop in Hateno Village for the same price. NOTE: For map reference, check the map image from Swift Carrots.
Cane Sugar
You can buy Cane Sugar from the Slippery Falcon Shop in Rito Village for 12 Rupees each. Another place you can buy Swift Carrots is the Goron City General Store in Goron City for 12 Rupees.
You can also find Cane Sugar to the South of the Great Hyrule Forest, in the very middle of the continent.
Tabantha Wheat
Tabantha Wheat can be more easily found by chopping grass with a sword in the Tabantha Frontier. Other than that, you can also purchase Tabantha Wheat from The Slippery Falcon – Rito Village or Gerudo Town Cooking Ingredients Stall – Gerudo Desert shops. You can buy these wheat for 12 Rupees each. You can also find Tabantha Wheat in Stolock Bridge.
