The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom sees Link returning to familiar locations, but also new locations like the Depths, which features a lava area that will immediately negatively affect Link.

How To Survive & Enter Lava Area Without Burning
To survive the lava area without dying from the heat, you will need some protective gear that will guard you from the scorching heat. The Flamebreaker armor set can be found in the Armor Shop in Goron City. The coordinates are 1654, 2419, 0383.
The Flamebreaker armor set contains the Flamebreaker Boots (1200 Rupees), Flamebreaker Armor (700 Rupees), and Flamebreaker Helm (1400 Rupees). Overall, you will need to 3300 Rupees to purchase the whole set.
Once you have purchased the Flamebreaker armor set, equip the set and you will be shielded from the heat inside hot areas like the lava area in the Depths.
