Finding a chest in any Zelda game like Tears of the Kingdom really activates those neurons in your brain. The dopamine hits and you rush towards the chest to open it and see the content inside. We all love opening loot chests in any game and this game is no different. What if I told you though that there’s a cave filled with chests in the game?
In this guide, we’ll show you how to do the Misko’s Cave of Chests quest. Be ready to open a lot of chests and see the goodies inside!
Misko’s Cave of Chests Guide
In the Akkala Highlands Region there’s a side quest that you can find that will lead you to a cave filled with chests. Of course, it sounds like too good to be true and it might be, but it’s fun opening chests so why not?
Here are the steps we need to take to complete this quest:
- Go to the Quest Location at 2619, 1305, 0149.
- Start the quest by talking to Domidak.
- Go inside Misko’s Cave of Chests.
- Open a bunch of treasure chests.
- Complete The Quest and get a Bottled Letter!
Detailed Walkthrough
In the Akkala Highlands region to the northeast of the map is where you’ll need to go. On the western bank of the Cephla Lake in the coordinates 2619, 1305, 0149 is where you can find the quest.
Next to a cave are two NPCs that are sitting next to the entrance. You can talk to them to start the quest Misko’s Cave of Chests.
Once you’ve started the quest head over to the cave next to them and go inside. At the very back of the cave is where you’ll want to go. The cave isn’t really that long nor are there hazards so just run to the back!
At the very back is a large section of the cave with A LOT of chests. Some of them you can open already while others are buried in the sand so you’ll want to use Ultrahand to get them out. You’ll need to interact and open a bunch of chests for the quest to continue.
Each chest contains the bountiful loot of a single Green Rupee. Yeah not much loot huh? So just keep on opening the chests and getting the single Green Rupees until a cutscene starts.
Once you’ve opened enough chests a cutscene will automatically start where the two NPCs that gave you the quest will talk to you. Afterwards they’ll inspect one of the chests and drop a bottled letter. The quest is completed after the cutscene!
