In Tears of the Kingdom there are these sneaky big frogs that love to hide in the most annoying to reach places. They’re called Bubbul Frogs and when you find them and defeat them, they drop a Bubbul Gem. These gems can then be used to exchange for different items like different cool masks so it’s good to look for these buggers.
In this guide, we’ll show you where the Bubbul Frog is in the Pikida Stonegrove Northwest Cave. Now get your paraglider ready because we’ll be flying around the cave!
Pikida Stonegrove Northwest Cave Bubbul Frog Location
These Bubbul frogs can be really sneaky since they’re always in the last place you look. Sometimes they’re in hidden rooms or hidden floors. This one needs a bit of finesse to get to its location.
Here are all the steps we’re going to take to find this Bubbul Frog:
- Locate the Pikida Stonegrove Northwest Cave in -2647, 3270, 0248;
- Use the Paraglider to go up the wind tunnel.
- Use an Explosive to Open the Hidden Cave;
- Find the Bubbul Frog and Defeat it.
- Get the Bubbul Gem!
Detailed Walkthrough
Before you go adventuring here, we highly suggest that you first finish the Taunhiy Shrine. You can check out our guide on how to beat that shrine for more details. That’s because we will be shooting something with a bow while in mid-air. This will be extremely difficult without the ability to slow time when shooting in mid-air so finish that shrine first.
After that, we’ll need to go to the Pikida Stonegrove Northwest Cave just northeast of the Hebra East Summit. The exact coordinates are of the cave are: -2647, 3270, 0248.
Once you get there just go to the very back of the cave where there’s a wind current that goes up. You’ll need to use your Paraglider to go up there.
While paragliding up, keep your view on the eastern part of the tunnel. What we’re looking for is a circular rock like the one shown below.
Use your bow and an explosive like a Bomb Flower to destroy the rock. This will reveal a secret cave that you need to go inside.
Inside that cave is the Bubbul Frog and all you need to do is kill it to get the Bubbul Gem!
