Tears of the Kingdom Royal Hidden Passage Bubbul Frog location

There are so many collectibles it’s not easy to not feel the urge to collect them all. The Bubbul Gems that drop from Bubbul Frogs are one of them and they’re often hidden deep undergrounds or in caves. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, however, has made searching for these frogs less of a chore since they’re often not super deep nor tricky to locate.

However, that doesn’t mean that you won’t miss out on any of them! One of the Bubbul Frog is located inside the Royal Hidden Passage and it’s easy to miss this. But fret not, we’ve got the walkthrough to locate this frog!

Royal Hidden Passage Bubbul Frog Location

The Royal Hidden Passage has two entrances that you can use to enter the location. The Bubbul Frog is a lot closer to locate from the North Entrance. If you haven’t been exploring the Royal Hidden Passage, the coordinates for this entrance are (-0219, 0720, -0049).

Go down the stairs where you’ll see this rock with inscriptions. If you look to your northwest, there’ll be a path you can go down. Follow that path and you’ll see boulders and rocks blocking your way several times. The dark grey ones require more than just force to break through them, but they’re worth it since they can drop precious stones!

After dropping down once, you’ll see yourself going down the tree root. Take the left jump down. Now keep following this path down.

At the end of this path, it’ll drop even further down. This is where you can spot the Bubbul Frog. Easy! This starts from the South Entrance.

You can also reach this place from the South Entrance, but it’s very obviously a longer way to go through compared to if you go in from the North Entrance. The entrance is just right there where you can rest for the night in Lookout Landing after interacting with the guard above. The coordinates are (-0217, 0720, -0049).

Crawl under the huge space on the wall to the north and keep going north for 10 straight seconds. You’ll end up on a fork where you have to take the left way in. Remember that throughout the way, you’ll see a lot of rubbles and dark grey rocks that will take more to crush.

Keep going until you see a gap that separates you from the way across where there are rocks blocking the way. Glide across and climb up a little. Break through the rocks and keep going straight again. You’ll end up in this open space. Find the dark grey rocks blocking the way and that’s where you need to go.

As you keep going this way, you’ll see another series of dark grey rocks. It’ll be along way winding down and when you see another fork, take the right path that’ll lead you to the underground water source.

You need to swim across here. What’s marked may not look clear here due to the distance, but that’s the path you need to take after swimming. There’ll be a path that keeps going straight and you’ll see a lot of rocks that you can break through.

From here, take the right turn and follow the path until you see the tree root. Follow the tree root and right at the end, slightly to the left in a hole that you can safely drop down into, is the Bubbul Frog!
