There are a lot of different items and ingredients that you can find in Tears of the Kingdom. These items can help you greatly specially when it comes to cooking. You can make all sorts of dishes that give you different buffs like heat or cold resistance or even defense and speed buffs. That’s why you’ll want to know where to find certain ingredients so you can stock up for your adventure.

Sizzlefin Trout Locations

The Sizzlefin Trout in Tears of the Kingdom is a type of fish that gives you cold resistance when you cook it in a dish. These Sizzlefin Trout are uncommon but can be found in the Warm waters of Hyrule. Your best bet is to find them in Hot Springs.

There are some named Hot Springs in the map like the Sturnida Secret Hot Springs in the Hebra Mountain region shown below. The coordinates for the hotsprings is around -4095, 2711, 0040. There is also Sherfin’s Secret Hotspring in the coordinates -4311, 3476, 0368 and the Goflam’s Secret Hotspring in the coordinates -3427, 3576, 0370.

Sizzlefin Trout is easier to catch then other fish because they’re a bit slower than the rest. You can dash towards them to catch them when in water, or use your paraglider and get a drop on them.

If you have some spare Yellow Chuchu Jelly or Shock Fruit around, then you can throw them or shoot them into the water. This will electrify the surrounding area and kill all the fish around it. Now you can just swim leisurely and collect the dead fish. Good thing there’s no law against fishing like this in Hyrule!
