The Sonapan Shrine located in Hyrule Ridge in Tears of The Kingdom is quite a fun shrine to explore. Not only is it fun, but it also gives a Blessing of Light which you can use to increase your health or stamina. In this shrine, you will get to use your Ascend ability and fly your way to the top. How to Complete the Sonapan Shrine
- Go to the Sonapan Shrine.
- Align the blocks and use your Ascend Ability to reach the top.
- Pick up the Treasure Chest along the way.
- Reach the end and obtain your rewards.
Tears of the Kingdom: Sonapan Shrine Detailed Walkthrough
The Sonapan Shrine is located to the West of Nima Plain and to the East of Satori Mountain. If you are still having trouble navigating, try going to the coordinates of -1921, -0336, 0226.
After you have arrived at the destination, interact with the shrine to go into it.
Then, run into the end and in front of the wall. After that, use your Ascend Ability to go upwards and continue progressing. In order to get the ability, you will need to complete the Gutanbac Shrine.
Then, run to the left side of your character and try to find a stone block in a corner. After that, use your Ultrahand to move the block to the right, under the chest.
Next, walk to the very right side of the wall and you will be able to see another stone block. Use your Ultrahand Ability again to move the block to the middle.
Once you have moved the block to the middle, place it on the middle platform. This will allow you to ascend through the platform and the block to reach a higher place.
Next, use your Ascend Ability and make your way through the blocks.
After you’ve made your way to the top, do not go inside immediately. Do you remember that chest we told you about earlier? You will want to obtain it for some rewards.
In order to get to that chest, glide to the left and try to land on the stone block under the chest.
Once you have successfully landed on the stone block, the chest will be just right in front of you. Open up the Treasure Chest and obtain your rewards. Take that 5 arrows and make good use of it!
Next, go back to the middle area and use the Ascend Ability again. Just like how you managed to do it earlier, you should be able to get onto the top platform. Then, walk up the stairs and head deeper into the shrine.
After that, keep going until you see a small pond of water. Look to the left and you will be able to see a stone block. Then, use your Ultrahand Ability and move the block out of the way. This will leave a small hole which you can use to Ascend upwards.
Wondering where to put the stone block? You will want to put the stone block in the middle of the pond. Make sure it is positioned under the high platform, look up and you will be able to spot it.
Then, use your Ascend Ability when you are standing under that small corner and go upwards to the very top.
Then, jump down, remember to use your glider and land on the stone block that you just placed.
Once you have successfully landed on top of the stone platform, use your Ascend Ability one more time to ascend higher.
Look up and you will be able to see the platform you need to ascend towards.
After that, you will be able to see the statues in front of you. Interact with the statue to obtain your final rewards. Upon completion, you will be rewarded with 1 Light of Blessing. With this item, you can pray at Goddess Statues to trade four Light of Blessing for a Heart Container or a slight increase to your Stamina Wheel.
