Whirlpools are a normal commodity in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Anyone who has traveled all over Hyrule will see them as they pass by, and there’s even a sand version of that called a quicksand sinkhole. Yet not everyone has seen these natural phenomena. One Korok by the name of Kula wishes to see them for himself, but he can’t leave the forest, so he asks Link for help. In this guide, I will show you where you can find the whirlpool and quicksand sinkhole to complete the Whirly Swirly Things side quest.
Whirly Swirly Things Guide
To start the quest, you will need to talk to Kula in the Korok Forest. He can be found in front of the Musanokir Shrine. Fast travel to the Shrine to get there quicker.
Once you arrive to the shrine, speak to Kula and he will tell you that his friend saw a big, whirly circle. The quest will then start and you need to take a picture of the big, whirly circle.
The big, whirly circle that Kula talks about is a whirlpool, and you can find one near Popla Foothills Skyview Tower.
When you launch from the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower, you will need to glide to this platform. The coordinates of the platform are 0643, -2252, 0397.
On the platform, take out your Camera and just snap a picture of the whirlpool from there. Once you have the picture, go back to Kula and show it to him.
Once you show the whirlpool to Kula, he will then tell you that his friend saw the same thing, but with sand. You will then have to travel to the Geruo region to take a picture of the quicksand sinkhole, which is near the Kara Kara Bazaar. The coordinates are -3334, -2663, 0033.
When you see the quicksand sinkhole, simply snap a picture and bring it back to Kula.
Show the quicksand sinkhole to Kula, and he will be happy that he got to see the whirly swirly things, which will then conclude the side quest.
That’s all you need to know on how to complete the Whirly Swirly Things side quest. Did you manage to help Kula achieve his dream on seeing these natural phenomenon’s? Let us know in the comments below.
