We all know that Link likes collecting gems, that’s why he destroys all those pottery for Rupees. That’s why in Tears of the Kingdom you can look for Bubbul Frogs that drop Bubbul gems when they’re defeated. These gems aren’t only for collecting, since you can exchange them for cool stuff like different masks.

Whistling Hill Cave Bubbul Frog Location
Bubbul Frogs are sneaky little critters that love to hang out in caves. Sometimes they’re easy to spot while at other times they’re a pain to find. This one is easy to spot though so don’t worry!
Here are the steps we’ll be taking to find this Bubbul Frog:
- Locate the Whistling Hill Cave in the coordinates: -0065, -1050, 0020;
- Destroy the rocks blocking the cave with a rock weapon or bomb;
- Go inside the cave and clear the enemies;
- Look up at the ceiling to find the Bubbul Frog;
- Defeat the Bubbul Frog;
- Get the Bubbul Gem!
Detailed Walkthrough
First off, you’ll need to find the cave to get to that pesky frog. The Whistling Hill Cave can be found southwest of the Whistling Hill. The exact coordinates for the cave are: -0065, -1050, 0020.
The cave will be blocked by some rocks as shown on the above image. You can use either a bomb or explosive or even a melee weapon like a stone hammer to destroy it. Once you’ve destroyed the rocks go inside and clear the enemies.
The Bubbul Frog will be on the ceiling of the first area of the cave that you enter where there’s enemies. Just use a bow to shoot it down and you then you can get the Bubbul Gem!
