Terraria 1.4.4 is finally out and it is possibly the best new patch ever! We are getting a whole new Aether region which has a brand new liquid added in. When you throw stuff inside this liquid you will get new items. In this guide, we will cover all of the items. Let’s get started.

All New Liquid Items Complete Guide – Terraria 1.4.4

First of all, you will need to find the new biome. To do so, we recommend checking out our How to Find Aether Biome guide where it is explained in detail.

The liquid works in a manner that when you drop an item inside of it, you will get a whole different item. You can experiment and get a whole new set of items, or you can also throw inside a fully created item and it will give you its parts. So this way you can actually disassemble items for free. Very neat indeed!

  • Angel Statue – if you throw an Angel Statue inside you can get an Aether Monolith. Whenever you will place it somewhere you will create an Aether background which might come in neat.
  • Rod of Discord – you can upgrade this into a Rod of Harmony. It will work just as same as before, just it won’t hurt you at all when you will use it. You need to defeat Moon Lord first.
  • Clentaminator – you can throw this item inside the liquid and you will end up getting a Terraformer. This one works just the same as before, just you will be able to reach more tiles
  • Enchanted Sundial – can be upgraded into Enchanted Moondial which will allow you to skip the whole day until dusk. Very useful indeed and highly recommended.
  • Whoopie Cushion – you can throw this inside and you’ll get a Gas Trap. Put it inside a chest and the next player that opens it will get poisoned. You can refill it too by throwing it inside.
  • Gold Worm can be thrown inside and will be refilled into Gummy Worm. This way you will permanently increase your fishing

  • Life Fruit – you can upgrade it into Aegis Fruit. You will get a permanent defense upgrade by using it
  • Life Crystal – can be upgraded into a Vital Crystal that increases permanent life regeneration
  • Ambrosia – just throw inside any type of fruit and you will gain a total increase of 5% for your mining after using it
  • Mana Crystal – you can throw it and get an Arcane Crystal. This will increase your permanent mana regeneration by 5%
  • Peddlers Hat – throw it inside and you’ll get a Pedlers Poach or Satchel. This way you will increase your storage of the items number sold to merchants +1
  • Ancient Walls/Cursed Walls – from Dungeon Walls
  • Arrows – upgraded into the new Shimmer Arrows
  • Campfire – upgraded into the new Aether Campfire
  • Torches – upgraded into the new Aether Torches
  • Flares – Shimmer Flares, but basically doing the same thing as before

You can also get very cool stuff if you throw inside one of these items:

  • Boosters
  • Special items
  • Ammunition
  • Ancient Armors
  • Lots of Various Objects
  • Statues
  • Revert
  • Money – do not throw it since it won’t do any good
  • Walls that spawn enemies
  • 4 special types of Moss Variants
  • Ancient Blocks
  • Secret Luminite Blocks – this is according to the 8 states of the moon(full, shrinking and etc.)

And that’s all of them! That’s all that you need to know about the new Liquid Items in Terraria 1.4.4. We hope that this guide has helped you out a bit and have fun making some new items! A big thank you to Joe Orion from YouTube. Check him out for more details.
