There are lots of new weapons that you are able to get with the new patch that just got added in the game. The Enchanted Sword is still as good as ever, and in this guide, we will be showing you the two best methods of how you can get one. Let’s get started.

How To Get Enchanted Sword – Terraria

Enchanted Sword is a pre-hardmode weapon that you can get by actually destroying an enchanted sword in a stone background object. You are able to find these background objects in random locations throughout the map and usually in random underground caves. The best possible place is the Enchanted Sword Shrines.

Sword shrines can be found in the outer two-thirds of the map. This is where they will most likely spawn. You are able to find them easier if you are playing on larger worlds too.

You are also able to get the Terragrim and Arkhalis swords from these background objects. It is all a big RNG chance and you will need to be patient and just keep trying to get one of each.

To be able to get them, you will need a Starfury Pickaxe. You can find these on and in the Sky Islands.

Method 1 of Getting An Enchanted Sword

When you get next to a forest biome which is next to the ocean one, you will want to spam the Starfury all around you. You will be looking for a very big water pool with a black hole inside of it.

Once you will find one such hole, you will want to dig a hole and go straight down towards it. Then once you get down you will see a stone background structure right on top of it. This is what it should look like:

Method 2 of Getting An Enchanted Sword

This method is strictly done by fishing. You are able to get the enchanted sword by going with your fishing rod next to the ocean biome. Then just keep on fishing. It is also an RNG chance and if you get lucky you will get the sword.

You are able to loot this sword from the fishing crates. If you are on pre-hardmode you will get it from a Golden Crate, and if you’re on hard mode from a Titanium Crate.

It is a very low chance to get one this way. Usually, you will get 1 Enchanted Sword in 100 crates. That is why we recommend going for the first method as it works more.

That’s everything that you need to know about getting an Enchanted Sword in Terraria. We hope that this guide has been useful and got you this very good weapon. Good luck!
