Are you tired of breeding endless perfect pals and hatching eggs like you’re running a daycare? Don’t worry—I’ve got your back. Here’s my updated raid setup guide for Palworld Feybreak that’ll help you farm eggs, loot, and resources like a pro while dominating those raid bosses, including Bellanoir, Bellanoir Libero, and Blazamut Ryu (well, at least before Feybreak threw us a curveball).
The Best Raid Setup Guide
Before we dive in, let’s address the elephant—or rather, the Bellanoir—in the room. Due to mechanical changes in the Feybreak patch, this setup can only defeat the default Bellanoir. Sadly, ultra variants like Bellanoir Libero and Blazamut Ryu are no longer vulnerable to this method. Adjustments might be needed if you’re tackling those.
Before we dive in, here’s everything you’ll need:
- Materials for all structures (Turrets, Chests, Feed boxes, A monitoring stand & More):
- 300+ Wood
- 600+ Stone
- 20+ Paldium Fragment
- 400+ Electric Organ
- 300+ Nail
- 300+ Circuit Board
- 750+ Cement
- 1500+ Refined Ingot
- 400+ Pal Metal Ingot
- Missile Turrets (lots of them).
- Ammo Boxes filled with rockets.
- High-attack Pals like Bellanoir or Anubis for operating the turrets.
- Electric Generators to power the turrets.
- A Cliffside Arena (natural defense works wonders).
That’s it! Grab your tools, and let’s get started.
Why Bellanoir?
Bellanoir has the highest shot attack thanks to its handiwork skill, making it the MVP for turret operation. While Anubis and Incineram are decent alternatives, Bellanoir simply outshines them for raw damage.
Once you’ve gathered all the materials, head to this spot on the map—coordinates: -300, 50. Then, you can start building!
Foundation Layout:
- Fill in the frame with a second layer of foundations for extra room. Trust me, you’ll need it for all your Pals, chests, and turrets.
- Place your power box facing away from the cliff. Make sure there’s just enough space near the edge of that stone that sticks out—you’ll thank me later.
- Add one foundation to the left of the power box.
- From there, extend six foundations south, then six east, and finally five north to form the outline.
- Drop your summoning altar near the cliff, right at the center of your foundation.
- Surround the entire base with walls and top it off with roofs and stairs. Boom—you’ve got yourself a fortress.
Best Turret Placement
Now it’s time to go all-out with defenses. Here’s how to place your turrets like a pro:
- Start by aligning your first turret with the edge of the building—get it as close as possible.
- Use alignment mode to set up four more turrets along the first side. Make sure they turn blue before placing them.
- Repeat the same process on the opposite side.
- For the south side, slightly overlap the ceiling with your turret and adjust backward if needed.
By the end, you’ll have 15 turrets—one for each Pal—and trust me, that’s more than enough firepower.
Don’t forget to gear up the base for battle:
- Set up a monitoring stand to manage your Pals and assign them to turrets. This makes raid prep so much smoother.
- Place a chest behind each turret stocked with rockets.
- Add feed boxes on both sides to keep your Pals happy and ready to fight.
Last step—get those turrets firing:
- Drop two power generators and fill them up to 100%.
- That’s it! Your turrets will now have enough juice to handle multiple raids without breaking a sweat.
How It Works
- Location Matters:
- Find a cliffside to act as one wall of your base. This reduces structural vulnerability and funnels the boss into your kill zone.
- Build Smart:
- Place turrets evenly spaced and surround them with ammo boxes.
- Make sure the electric generators are well-protected and connected to the turrets.
- Load Rockets:
- Each turret should have at least 50 rockets ready to go. For tougher bosses, double it.
- Pal Assignment:
- Assign Bellanoir (or another high shot-attack pal) to each turret. Their damage scales with attack stats, so prioritize high-level pals.
- Position Yourself:
- Stay near the turrets but not too high or far away. Being out of range can trigger base destruction mechanics, so keep an eye on your positioning
Post-Feybreak Testing and Observations + Tips
Bellanoir Libero and Blazamut Ryu:
- Sadly, the Feybreak patch rendered this method ineffective against ultra variants. Many players reported that their setups were destroyed quickly, leaving manual fighting as the only viable option.
- If you still want to attempt this on tougher bosses, consider reinforcing structures or preparing backup pals with Pulse Cannons.
Default Bellanoir:
- Still falls easily with this method. With about 10 maxed-out Anubis (level 45–50) and base passives, players reported clearing the fight in 15 seconds.
Wrap-Up
While the Feybreak update nerfed some of our favorite strategies, this setup remains a powerhouse for farming default bosses and gathering loot. Don’t forget to test new builds and experiment with different pals—after all, it’s not just about dominating raids; it’s about having fun while doing it!
Let me know how this build works for you post-update, and feel free to share your tweaks and improvements!
Before I let you go, here are some useful tips that you should know for building the best raid setup/base in the Feybreak Update:
- Passives Matter: Use pals with Musclehead for increased damage. Passives like Impatient may also speed up firing rates, but results can vary.
- Turret Limits: If you notice turrets disappearing while placing them, you may have hit the build limit. Space them out or check resource counts.
- Ammo Management: Turrets don’t have built-in storage, so plan enough ammo boxes nearby to avoid running out mid-fight.
- Test Before Boss Fights: Place a few turrets and fire test rounds to ensure your setup is powered and loaded properly.
