Ah, the assault rifle—a gamer’s best friend in every video game that has guns. It’s your go-to weapon when starting missions. Sometimes, it can be the best weapon in the game that you don’t want to let go of. Or it can be the worst weapon in the game that you would rather use as a pea shooter. In Cycle Frontier, there are eight different assault rifles to choose from, and it’s guaranteed some of them are bad. But which one is it?
Assault Rifles Weapons Tier List – The Cycle Frontier
Choosing the right assault rifle is critical if you want to remain with an assault rifle while playing. To fully grasp the difference between which assault rifle is better is by presenting a tier list.
Assault Rifles | Tier |
AR-55 Phase Autorifle | S |
Manticore | S |
Advocate | C |
Gorgon | C |
KOR-47 | B |
The AR-55, basically the starter weapon for the assault rifle class, is an S tier weapon because it has the same bullet damage as that of a Manticore, but the bullets it shoots out comes out faster than a Manticore, making it an effective and cheaper version of the Manticore. However, watch out for that rate of fire, because it can be difficult to control.
The Manticore is also S tier as well. It is essentially the expensive version of the AR-55, but it basically has no recoil, unlike the AR-55. It’s currently the most used assault rifle in the game, which is not surprising as the no recoil feature is a big highlight.
Which Assault Rifle Should You Use in The Cycle Frontier?
The Advocate ranks lower due to its incredibly horrible recoil and short magazine. The Advocate is recorded to be able to kill enemies at the same time as an AR-55 or a Manticore, but with its incredibly short magazine and recoil that does not just go down, but left and right for some reason. With that in mind, the Advocate just doesn’t seem worth it when the Manticore, or even the AR-55, is right there.
The Gorgon is a laser assault rifle that requires a lot of skill. The Gorgon can be usable and it can deal massive damage and kill enemies, but with the current nerfs to weapons like the Gorgon, it has become too weak to use or too difficult. It’s still usable, it just needs to return to its former glory.
The KOR-47 is a great assault rifle. Great damage, great rate of fire, great magazine count. However, what brings it down to what would have been an A tier spot to a B tier spot is the recoil. Recoil in this game affected most weapons, making them almost unusable, and KOR-47 was one of its unfortunate victims. But, it’s still fun to use.
