The Finals how to switch regions

The Finals is a game that relies a lot on having stable, low-ping connection which means you have to changer servers if necessary. Or perhaps you want to be able to play on the same lobby as your friends. Whichever it is, we’re going to show you how you can change region in the game.

How to Change Servers

To change servers, you can do it after clicking the Play button and look to the bottom left of your screen. It should say where you’re currently playing in.

Then, it’ll show the Settings under the Gameplay tab, the Region where you’re having your matchmaking in. Currently, there are three servers: Europe, North America and Asia.

You can also opt for Automatic to let the game decide which server you play on. Unfortunately, you cannot pick a specific server like Apex Legends in case when the one you’re on is experiencing problems.

Embark Studios have also acknowledged that the surge of players has been causing login issues which probably isn’t something you can mitigate by simply switching servers.

Fortunately, they have been working on expanding the server capacity and rolled out an update quite literally yesterday to mitigate the issue.

Since the game is still in Open Beta, we’ve yet to know if the game plans to add new server regions.

Players from regions such as Australia, Oceania, Middle East, and more are facing high pings and have been requesting for their own servers.
