In some games, driving vehicles like cars, tanks or even horses are quite simple. You just go inside them press the forward button and start driving. In The Front, it’s a bit more than just that and a lot is more involved. That’s why a lot of players can get a bit confused about why their tank won’t move in the game. That’s because the game wants you to do a few things first to get things moving.
In this guide, we’ll go through how to control and drive your vehicle in the game. We’ll also show you how to access the inventory of the vehicle which is important in keeping it running!
How To Drive Vehicles Guide
When you go inside a vehicle in The Front, you might be confused with all the new UI elements and why it won’t move. That’s because the vehicle first needs to have fuel for it to work!
Get some fuel for your tank or car and keep it in your inventory. Go inside the vehicle and hold the F key to bring the vehicle interaction wheel. Then, select the View Vehicle option on the right side of the wheel.
Once you’ve done that, you’ll then see your inventory and to the right the inventory of the vehicle.
There, you can place your Gasoline in the Vehicle Gas Can. You can also put the ammunition of your vehicle in the Ammo Rack if it has any weapons.
Now that you have gas in your vehicle, it should update the gas bar on the lower left of the screen. There, you’ll also see a compass for your vehicle on where it’s facing.
In the same UI element, you’ll see the button to toggle the Engine which is the E key. You can also toggle the lights with the Y key. Once your engine is working, you can then start using your vehicle in the game!
