Collectibles in MMORPGs have always been a great way for players to spend their time because they get to see the sights of the map that usually aren’t seen when you do quests. Collectibles usually give you some kind of reward at the end, like a title or an item for completing the set so you can show off your achievement. In Star Wars the Old Republic, there are collectibles called Datacons and besides enjoying collecting them they also give the player a small stat boost including some lore on the Star Wars universe. In this guide, we’ll show you the locations of all Dromund Kaas Datacrons.
All Dromund Kaas Datacrons In The Old Republic
Datacrons give you small stat bonuses as well as pieces of lore in the Star Wars universe that you can’t find in the movies or books. These mysterious little cubes can also be collected and made into decorations for your stronghold so keep that in mind!
Strength Datacron
The first Datacron you’ll find is in the first place you’ll set foot in Dromund Kaas, the Spaceport.
The Datacron is on top of some containers and the way to go there is to actually go on top of the walkways and stick to the right wall where you’ll see a small opening to drop down.
You’ll drop down into this long vent where you can just walk to the very end and drop to the datacron on top of the containers. It might take you a few tries but you’ll get the hang of it.
Presence Datacron
This one is just outside the space port to the south. If you look at the map there’s a faint path leading there, go down that path to your next Datacron.
If you see an elite enemy at the end of the path then you know you’re on the right track. To the side of the enemy is a hidden path that’s also linear, just stick to the path and you should be good to go.
That’s your Datacron, why did somebody place that here?
Endurance Datacron
The next Datacron is actually to the southern part of the map near a Sith Lord’s estate. You’ll probably encounter this area in one of the many quests in this map. We won’t be going inside the actual estate though.
Once you get to the main estate building look to the side where there’s a small pond. To the right of that is another hidden and linear path.
Just follow the path and you’ll get your next datacron. Easy as that, all you needed to do was trespass on a Sith Lord’s property! I’m sure they won’t mind.
Yellow Matrix Shard
To the right of the estate are a series of rivers connected to a waterfall to the southern most part of the map.
On top of the waterfall is the datacron you’re looking for. To get there you’ll need to go to the southern side of the river and there should be a cave there that leads straight to the datacron.
Cunning Datacron
The last Datacron is actually near the entrance to the Dark Temple, a place you’ll be familiar if you’re doing the quests in the area or doing one of the faster heroics in the game.
Near the entrance should be a container that is next to a rock formation, all you need to do is jump off top of the formation and follow the path on top.
And the end should be a cliff and below are boulders, one of which is where the last datacron is. I suggest dropping to the boulders closer to you first, and not just jumping straight to where the datacron is because you might not like where you’ll end up.
