The Old Republic: Imperial Beastmaster of Balmorra | All Balmorra Bestiary Lore Objects

Let’s go Hunting!

The Old Republic Imperial Beastmaster of Balmorra All Balmorra Bestiary Lore Objects

There are a lot of interesting creatures in the Star Wars Series, many of them can be cute like the Bantha while some are downright horrendous like the Sarlacc. You have to wonder how these creatures came to be, what do the residents of the universe usually do with them and so on. Well in Star Wars The old Republic you can actually get lore codexes from killing creatures, and if you kill certain creatures in a planet you can even get an achievement! In this guide we’ll show you how to get the Beastmaster of Balmorra Achievement in Star Wars the Old Republic.

Now Balmorra is a contested planet at the time of Star Wars the Old Republic. That means the Empire and the Republic are fighting over control of the planet, that’s why you’ll see a lot of troops around the place. In this guide we’ll only focus on the Imperial side of the planet.

Bormu Plainsgrazer

The first beast on the list is west of the Markaran Outpost, beyond the Okara Droid Factory. East of the Vanguard Outpost is an area where the beast spawns.

The Bormu Plainsgrazer is a humble and docile giant, and that’s why we’re killing it because it is not hostile. There’s a reason why this is part of the Empire side of the achievement, killing this planet’s equivalent to an Elephant just for the heck of it is on brand.

Tainted Zeldrate Marshwalker

Next is to the north of the area to the marshes. There you’ll find your next target, be careful though, the place is filled with enemies.

There are plenty of Tainted Seldrate Marshwalkers here, and they’re quite easy to fight. Just remember to fight them one by one and not bring any other mobs in the area or it might be too much for you.

Ravenous Darkpyres

Next stop is to the Sundari Imperial Outpost to the east of the map. There in-between the outpost and the Balmorran Arms Factory is your next target.

The Ravenous Darkpyre are normal enemies so they don’t pose much of a threat. You’ll just need to be careful not to get swarmed by the other mobs in the area and you’ll be good.

Mutated Colicoid Drone – Beastmaster of Balmorra Achievement

This next one might be tough, and for some it may be impossible. Deep in the Balmorran Arms Factory is an open-air area where the factory parks their shuttles and ships. To the west is your next target.

The problem with this target is that it’s inaccessible to most classes. You can only get to the elevated area to the west side of the map at a certain point in the Imperial Inquisitor story line. There are ways to do it by glitching your companion to the top and ordering them to attack the beast and bring them near you. But it’s janky and I myself couldn’t do it.

Movement skills might be good here. I was able to get on top of the area using the Bounty Hunter’s Rocket Out skill.

If you ever get to the top of it your reward is the Mutated Colicoid Drone.

Congratulations, you now know where to find all the beasts to get the Beastmaster of Balmorra achievement! Not go out there and hunt those beasts!
